On the night after the first date, I messaged on dating app “Thank you for a great evening and hope you get home safe. I enjoyed our drinks. 🙂 Would you be up for meeting again?”

She replied the next night “Hello (name)! Yeah got home safe thanks, had a lovely eve :) yeah meeting up again would be cool :)”

I replied the next night “Glad you had a lovely eve and got home safe. 🙂 Cool, I was thinking we could go to South Bank Christmas Market. Might find a mulled wine instead of gin this time 😂. I can do most evenings & weekend next week except Friday and Thursday. Or the week after, I’m free other than (dates) when I’m in away. Let me know what works best for you. :) Did you get your glasto tickets by the way?

No response so after 2 days I messaged on WhatsApp “Hey (name), it’s (name) from Hinge. 🙂 Realised the last 2 digits of your number were the wrong way around. That’s why it didn’t send before. 😂”

She responded the next night”loool oh god were they? How much wine did I have? 😂Well done for figuring it out”

I then responded “Are you sure you’re not an alcoholic? 😂 Tbf, I lost count after the gin - apparently it’s a big thing at markets this year. 😂 Are you still keen on doing it again? 😂 I can do Saturday or Wednesday.”

No response a week later.

- Went on a first date off Hinge which went really well.

- I asked for her number on the date but it was incorrect. (I later realised she had got the last 2 digits the wrong way around when she put it into my phone.)

- I messaged her on Hinge asking if she’d be up for meeting up again and her reply 24 hours later was “Hello! Yeah got home safe thanks, had a lovely eve :) yeah meeting up again would be cool :)”

- She’s very busy in her job so I suggested an activity and told her what days I’m available and 48 hours later - no response.

- I also found her on instagram as she gave me her full name when she saved her number into my phone. I don’t want to message her on WhatsApp (corrected number with last 2 digits reversed) as it might seem too forward as it was only by chance I figured out the error. And I don’t want to add her on insta without asking her first.

(I am female) Initially, he would call or text me every 3days. after had gone on a couple of dates & I slept him with I noticed that he wouldn’t talk to me as much-maybe about 1x a week to 1 x 10 days. Once he called saying he had a cold. I wished him a speedy recovery. I didn’t check up on him throughout the week bc we hadn’t been speaking much and a cold is common. Turns out he thought he may have had covid. I feel like he was upset that I didn’t check up on him.
The next time he reached out, I raised that we don’t speak much. He said he doesn’t have much time with work/studying & he told me that I could also initiate texting.
He texted me then ghosted a question I had texted him in response. I had him on a language app where he would log in everyday & he even click a button to congratulate me on it. I decided to unfollow him the language learning app a week after getting ghosted bc I would constantly get notifications but he told me he was too busy to call/ text. Underneath the text where he ghosted me, he sent me a text saying ouch- bc of the language app. I didn’t reply which isn’t nice of me- but didn’t want to get ghosted again & I thought it was cheeky that he didn’t apologise for ghosting me but was offended at my reaction.
After 1week, I decided I would call him. I was planning on communicating to why I unfollowed him on the language learning app. He was so awkward on the phone & asked me why I unfollowed him & I told him it’s bc we haven’t been speaking much so I found it weird to constantly get notifications on your progress everyday. He said communication goes both ways & I replied saying I made the call. He said ‘he’ll return the favour ‘. He sounded upset/ passive aggressive & wouldn’t talk much. There was an awkward silence - so I decided to end the call with him. A couple hours later I tried to call back bc I didn’t want to leave our communication on a sour note. He didn’t call back. After 10 days of not hearing back. I blocked him on everything.
