- Went on a first date off Hinge which went really well.

- I asked for her number on the date but it was incorrect. (I later realised she had got the last 2 digits the wrong way around when she put it into my phone.)

- I messaged her on Hinge asking if she’d be up for meeting up again and her reply 24 hours later was “Hello! Yeah got home safe thanks, had a lovely eve :) yeah meeting up again would be cool :)”

- She’s very busy in her job so I suggested an activity and told her what days I’m available and 48 hours later - no response.

- I also found her on instagram as she gave me her full name when she saved her number into my phone. I don’t want to message her on WhatsApp (corrected number with last 2 digits reversed) as it might seem too forward as it was only by chance I figured out the error. And I don’t want to add her on insta without asking her first.

It has a chance - just give it time

Hmm that's tricky man. On one hand the date seemed to go well and she said meeting up again would be cool. But the lack of response to setting up a second date is kinda lame. A few thoughts:

- Her job being busy could be legit, people do get swamped. But 48 hours with no reply is pushing it.

- Finding her socials is cool, but yeah I wouldn't hit her up on there without her saying it's cool first. Might come off as too stalkery.

- The incorrect number thing is weird too, like how'd she mess that up handing it to you directly? Makes me think she may not be that interested.

- If it were me, I'd wait like another day or two and send one last Hinge message being like "no worries if you're busy, just wanted to check in." See what she says.

- If still nothing, I'd prob take the hint she's lost interest and move on. Not worth chasing if they're not reciprocating y'know?

Tough to say for sure, but those are signs it may not go anywhere my man. Hope she gets back to you with a solid plan, but protect your energy if she keeps flaking!

Yes I’ve become weirdly obsessed with this one which doesn’t normally happen. Ok so my plan is just keep talking to other girls (have arranged another date with someone else). Come Thursday if she still hasn’t replied, I’ll send her one last WhatsApp message saying “Hello (name), it’s (name) from Hinge. Realised the last 2 digits of your number were the wrong way around. That’s why it didn’t send before. 😂”

Damn dude, I hear ya. It's always annoying when you start liking someone and they start playing games. Makes it hard not to obsess a little bit.

Your plan sounds solid though. Really the best thing is to just play it cool and keep yourself busy with other options. Getting that other date lined up is a great move - takes the pressure off this one situation.

And yeah, I think sending one last lighthearted message on Thursday if she still hasn't replied is fair enough. Gotta shoot your shot, right? Then at least the ball's in her court and you'll know you tried.

After that, I'd say you gotta leave it. Don't double or triple text. If she doesn't get back to you, her loss. Plenty more fish and all that.

Sometimes these things just don't work out for whatever reason. But looks like you've got a good head on your shoulders to not let it consume you either way. Keep doing your thing - hopefully she comes around, but you'll be all good either way man!

Why are you holding back about the last two digits being backwards. She didn't intentionally do that, so she doesn't know you had to figure it out. Or, maybe she did, as a test to see how interested you are, amnd the fact that you figured it out indicates you ARE interested.

Contact her via text, insta and WhatsApp... let her know you are interested and want to see her again. What have you got to lose?

This contradicts the other answers. I have contacted her on hinge and she said yes to second date. But she hasn’t replied to my follow up on hinge for her to let me know when is best for her. I gave her my availability.

I learned , back when I was dating, after my divorce, to not give my availability. If I wanted to see someone, I made a plan and told her what the plan was. If she liked it, she agreed and we had a nice date. If she didn't agree, she told me so and usually suggested an alternative.

So I've developed this general rule. Don't ask questions, make statements. If they don't like your statement, they'll say so.

No don’t message her on WhatsApp without discussing it with her… it’s abit creepy/strong I’m sorry…. I block guys who has stalk my social media w/o talking about it… if it has been a couple days, it’s always okay to message her again to say something like “I hope you’re having a good day” “thinking about you :)” or just something cute and thoughtful.

If it doesn’t click right away, I’m personally far more inclined to move on and not waste any more time. She has to reciprocate equally. It’s not your responsibility to carry the relationship. And one decent date doesn’t excuse multi-day radio silence.
