This is a genuine question since I feel less hope for humanity being on social media sites like these when people ask so my skewed and carefully coded question, only their perceived ideas on an issue get the 👍, MHO, or what have you…. My critique is, discuss what can / what can’t be discussed in Sex Education…. Maybe discuss if it should be the right of the parent not the right of the school to teach that stuff. I see another question “Should Trump go to jail for his crimes?” where the polls are skewed, “No because I’m a Dumb MAGA” or “Yes because I use my brain”.(From The Left) though I’ve seen Republicans do this too….

This is a TWO Party issue because it is a PEOPLE issue. As people we are flawed, we can make mistakes, etc. though we should ask open ended questions where we not only expect differing views, we accept them and we don’t attack each other for being male or female… We just get along. Can we just agree to get along and ask more open ended questions?

I have had platonic relationships with the opposite sex and I can honestly say that I never wanted to have sex with the women who had always been just friends. Yes, it is possible. . . at least for me and some other people, but maybe not everyone.

Once upon a time, I tried to maintain a platonic relationship with a girl who had previously been a sexual partner. She had broken up with me and I still wanted a relationship, so I tried to maintain contact, hoping that she would reconsider our relationship. I simply wasted my time and, when I was ready to start dating again, having a "friendship" with the ex would have been a huge red flag for any potential future partner.

If I was still dating now, I would walk away from any woman who was trying to maintain an active "friendship" with a former dating/sexual partner. HBU?
