I’m 34 years old female

I’ve had some short relationships but I’ve only had 1 serious relationship for a year and 3 months (mainly long distance but 1st half was in person then the 2nd half was online). Supposedly friends now. I’ve been on other dates since then but no new relationship.

However I am happy being single and living my life to the fullest right now. I don't know if I just need to branch out more. I do volunteering, reading, Zumba, yoga, painting in my free time but some of my friends tell me I should go where there’s a lot of guys.

Dating apps and dating in 2025 in general honestly kind of sucks lately. Maybe I’d have better luck asking family & friends instead?

He started doing this a 15 months ago we will go to a concert festival or say Thanksgiving at my family's 400 miles away. He started whining and wanted to leave five minutes after we got there. I would say no.

He would leave me stranded there or we would get in horrible fights on the way home. He would say it's no big deal after pouting and sulking all day and screaming at me the whole way home.

I go solo everywhere. His friends think I am horrible. I am sick of rearranging my whole schedule for no reason.

He was all pouty I didn't take him to my reunion or my company Christmas party or my family's house. I waited for him and he never came down. He couldn't decide if he wanted to go or not. So after fifteen minutes I left.

He called the police and reported me missing. Twice. He knew exactly where I was. The police were pissed. At him.

I told him we need therapy. i go for me. I can be impatient and a bitch sometimes. He said he doesn't have a problem.
