I think the most awkward is inbetween. So like when someone says kinda cliche date-like questions but is also very uncomfortable with the situation. Rather than either being very much in their element in dating, or taking it slow.

For me I prefer to be friends first so even if I ask soneobe out or vice herds, I do best in the friendly realm initially. I think of dating as ‘friendship with potential’. So I would not date someone I wasn’t friends with but I also do not automatically switch gears if we are dating.

I understand this is not ideal for many snd rewuires a lot of patience for something that might go no where. I’m not in a rush for any kind of relationship so this gives me some flexibility , I suppose.

****We met up today but I kept it very normal like how we used to be when we were friends. We mostly played basket ball. Talked a bit. But normally. It went well was more natural & he did not weirdly randomly try to kiss or hug me —which in this case is a good thing 😊😊

So I don't know basically we see each other on Wednesday’s. I don't know if it will turn into full fledge dating. I’m not exactly in the right space for that but as for how things are as of now, it’s good. So maybe down the line. We’ll see.

…and no need to worry bc of the posts 👍🏼 There were several posts bc the convo was 12,000 characters & posts are only 2,000–Not bc I was 5 posts worth of worried 😄I was setting a debate with a friend. I am not nor was I so much worried the guy is not honest it was more to see what other people thought bc my friend who is very observant normally, thought he was dishonest or will be trouble in future.

…. In my opinion initially he was acting unnatural and he probably is somewhere inbetween the first date where he presented as very traditionally and the second where he implied very loose character.

**My Fiance (Not sure I should Call him this now) Took a Break (Not even sure If IT Wasn't just a Break-up instead) For I had just Moved Nearly a Month ago to a Lovely place On My Own. I share this Place with Two other people but Not an EX (Bestie Friend) who is just a Part of my Family For Years and also a Biz partner. I now have More Freedom and Space and Feel Happier now. I can also get back into My Second book I am Writing. However, For Three years I have Been in a Long Distance Relationship with Alistyr from Gag (Not here anymore) and We became Engaged. Rings, etc. I became Part of His Family as well. We exchange Gifts, etc. I realize (Not judging neither) Many of You Frown on a LDR but it was Everything Beautiful to Us and We have/Had made it Work. I became a Bit of a problem in My Own Right with some Things and It Caused friction. And of Course, He Has/Had his own Flaws. But we still Love One another very much. Trouble Is, I am Not SURE anymore I wish to get Married and Be his Wife. Even now to Wear his Ring, Which I put Aside for Now. I don't Want to Keep going Back and Forth to Cause Him anymore pain and Anguish and Confusion. I need Advice from my Friends Here on How to Proceed now? Any Input Is Greatly Appreciated. Hey everyone so my boyfriend left me 2 weeks ago for personal problems. He was tired, sad, and felt bored. He swore I was not the issue and has made an effort to stay friends. the first week of being friends we hung out, held hands, kissed etc. It was like we were dating with no label and we both agreed it needed to stop. So we did. He didn't know what he wanted, he said he felt numb and depressed. A few nights ago he said leaving me made him feel even worse and that I was not the issue at all but that he knew he couldn't get into a relationship with me until he figured out his issue. He said he wanted to prioritize his mental health. I was super upset but also really understanding. I have gone minimal contact with him for about 2 days now and have done my best to give him space and distance to figure out his life. Today he invited me to dinner, said he had an extremely hard day and wanted a hug and to see me. I understand we broke up but we have love for each other and he has stayed loyal completely anyways. Do I go and risk getting my hopes up? Do I go and remind myself its just a friend and not expect anything. Or, do I say no and risk him being upset or thinking i've moved on.
