Basically been in a “situationship” for half a year. I want it to be a committed relationship but he keeps saying he doesn’t want to rush things. How long before it’s time to give up?
When a man meets a woman he wants to be in a relationship with and he knows her value (and she knows hers), he will do everything he can to be in one with her. If you're in a situationship which is just another millennial word for friends with benefits, or long term booty call then it's over. This only happens when you lack necessary boundaries and do not understand your own value.
Women have been taught to view and have sex in a casual manner, but while doing so, they also send a clear message that they are not to be taken seriously, and not to be seen as relationship material. But often they also fail to understand that a man will do relationship activities and sleep with women they would never have a relationship with or marry.

I was in that spot for 4 minths and it sucked. When we had "the talk" he brutally rejected me. He didn't want anything serious i guess.
I think 8 to 10 weeks. Two months is mooore than enough to know if you want to date someone seriously or not. Because even than, it is still "trial mode" up to wedding or whatever.
