I have never been a big fan of music. I mostly stick to my genre of rock/metal or alternative rock/metal with few exceptions. I listen to some eminem and a few scattered pop songs here and there. My playlist grossed about 300 songs, and I was happy with it. If I wanted new music, I would listen to the radio or go on over to Pandora.

My wife (29F) has much larger music taste, especially in pop, which has a much larger library to choose from. She has around 4 thousand songs in her playlist, and her favorite is Taylor Swift (I detest her music, but have no opinion of her personally).

My wife doesn't like to drive when we are together and calls herself "passenger princess." Sometimes, I ask her to drive, and she just refuses, so I just drive because it takes little energy. Anyway, in the car, she has been complaining for ages that I don't have enough music variety, and she keeps hearing the same songs every couple of days (luck of the shuffle play, I guess). I just look at her and say, "It is what it is." And "I like what I like." I started skipping songs if we had heard them in the past few days, so its something different.

Fast forward to today, and I got to work and go to turn on my spotify and hear some random pop song. So I looked, and my playlist went from 300 something to 1.5k, and it's all pop music and every single taylor Swift song that exists. I feel absolutely livid and now its gonna take me all morning to go and remove these songs one by one using my phone (it'd be much faster on my laptop, but I dont have that on me). I want to confront her so bad, but I am thinking that's the AH move. First thing that popped into my head when I calmed down slightly was that she isn't letting me be my own person, as if I have to be some weird almalgimation of a combination of our personalitys and nothing can be just mine. Am I right to be angry? Am I the asshole?

Tldr; Wife didn't like the lack of variety in my playlist, so she added over 1k songs to it w/out permission

We have been dating for a little over 6 months, there has never been a day where she didn't contact me, sometime She has been a little flaky as far as the response time, but we both work busy jobs so that's all good. Recently she went four days without contacting me at all, I live in a flake capital in the United States of America, where girls are extremely flaky and ghost regularly. So I figured she was just being non-dramatic and ghosting me, no big deal, it happens. So I called one of my regulars from before we for serious and I slept w her.

Then of course my girl inevitably calls me, and says she was busy because her sister was visiting. So was this cheating? Should she have texted me at least hello while her sister was here? I'm open to judgment. Let it rip.
