As of recently, my popularity has dwindled on the dating apps & I’m unsure of the exact cause. Is it my age? As I look the same & I haven’t moved yet things went downhill a few months ago. I mainly use hinge & noticed this drought on all the other apps too, which makes me even more worried considering it seems to be across all platforms. Because of this, I’ve also been second guessing my decision to brush off the guys that previously showed interest in me. At the time I was somewhat interested in a few but either I wasn’t in the mood/doubtful because of negative dating app experiences I dealt with at that time/was too anxious. I question if I genuinely feel regret because this is a delayed reaction or if I’m reminiscing/liking the idea of them since things aren’t going my way at the moment. How can someone be told they’re “attractive” yet quality guys NEVER show them interest in person? If I got attention from these guys from the apps in person, maybe I wouldn’t be as anxious.

29F & I’ve always had this type of deep rooted anxiety when it comes to relationships, I’ve always been a loner & not the friendliest I suppose, to the point where I’m currently content with online/gamer “friends”. There’s this part of me though, that struggles with knowing I’ll never find romantic love. I’m very sure I’m only romantically attracted to men but in a way, I question at times if I really want to be with one long term. Let’s start with: I’m not very affectionate, I don’t trust easily, I get turned off quickly by “innocent” cocky or conceited banter, I’m very antsy about intimacy & not crazy about sex/masturbation to begin with. These might all seem like cop outs because I truly feel the right person will change how I feel about all these “issues”. As a woman I don’t think it’s that rare to not really have much of a sex drive, I keep hearing stories about other women in the same boat that meet their husbands & realize they weren’t “asexual” after all.

We are dating 3 months, we agreed to exclusively date 1 month into seeing each other.
Around 2 months we became sexual. He's very affectionate in private. He's shy and doesn't do PDA much, but will kiss/hug/hold hands during outdoor walks/hikes.

Before the first date we both said what we want and they align pretty well: marriage, kids and committed long term. This has not changed for either.

We go on dates: morning hikes, drinks at bar, afternoon dog walks etc.
He has no family so I have not met anyone, mine is very traditional (so I can't tell them about him yet), he has casually met some of my friends. He usually comes to me and we are both on tight schedules so honestly haven't felt like sharing him with other people- so we haven't really had a double dates or hanging out with friends.

I've been to his place, mostly he comes to me, picks me up and drives me to date locations, he is good at planning thoughtful dates. He pays for all the dates, and he's a little traditional.

When I brought up "where are we going?" he said he enjoys his time with me and wants to continue seeing me, and get to know me, but didn't want labels yet, I am falling for him and was a bit hurt but given we are still relatively new it seemed fair.

To me everything we do feels like a "relationship" but we are just "exclusively dating".
What are we?

So there’s this guy that I’m friends with, and we have been friends for sometime. I used to have a crush on him and I admitted to him that I was attracted to him. He said he didn’t feel the same way and I didn’t feel a ways about it so we just moved on. It took me a minute but I finally got over my attraction.

However, this man makes sexual jokes about us engaging in sexual acts, saying he thinks of me when he uses his sex toys, touches my leg, likes to make fun and a lot more. He flirts with me a lot. I catch him staring at me sometimes too, and when I look up sometimes he’ll look away, sometimes he’ll maintain eye contact. More than what a guy friend would do.

However, anytime I jokingly say he likes me he gets unnecessarily defensive about it. Also, he tends to play some songs (love songs or affectionate songs) when I’m around, he tends to do that when he can’t express himself. And he gets jealous when I talk to other guys (romantically or not). Even if it’s for a short spell, he stares at the man. Or if I talk about having another guy friend he gets fairly defensive about that too. But, he talks to girls a lot and has female friends too.

And the one thing I’ve noticed when interacting with his female friends is that they tend to act weird around me. As if they have some type of animosity towards me, but I don’t hang out with them enough for them to even have animosity so I have no idea. I suspect that he may talk about me to them a lot and they don’t like that, and some of them may even like him but he tends to give me a lot of attention. So I’m trying to figure out, is it possible that he likes me?

29F, I’ve been on and off the dating apps for years. I’m under the impression that I want a relationship as I install apps on and off. I’m at the point where I get drained when they’re installed & when I’m not in the mood to reply to messages or swipe on profiles, I end up actually using it every other day or every couple of days. When I’m at the point where I notice I’m not getting as many matches or likes after a couple of months, that’s when I delete & likely going on hiatus. I think deep down I must want something other than validation right? I like men but I haven’t been in a ltr yet, I saw someone for a few months jn my early twenties & haven’t seen someone since bc I refuse to settle. I get interest from guys but it only seems to be on dating apps which I take with a grain of salt, I’m told I’m cute/attractive but never get noticed by guys I like in person (as in actually approached). I’m always told I haven’t found the right person & this may hold truth, I’m reserved & not affectionate/don’t have a sex drive really but feel like that could possibly change if I meet someone. I just worry I’ll feel regret as I’m getting old & still haven’t been in a ltr, I don’t want kids but open to marriage
