I’ve been seeing a girl for about a month now. We planned a night together, but she told me she was seeing friends beforehand. So I told her I’d meet her there and we’d go from there.

Her side: You arrived with your friend thinking we weren’t going any longer. Her and her friend helped me get into this event and I didn’t even thank them. Apparently I didn’t even say hi to her. I was playing the cool guy card with my friend and was walking around doing my own thing instead of being with her. “When you come with someone you stay with them”. Not long after at the bar upset at me giving her no attention and when I came up to talk to her it was the worst timing possible because she was eating and that’s a sacred time/bad convo time. I left and she claims I was planing to do that the whole night and not stay there. And lastly I didn’t come back to her place to stay over even though yesterday that was the plan! And I didn’t even reach out to her the day after when she thought I would.

My side: Came with my friend cuz it’s a group thing, she said ok over text. She sent us used tickets from her friend so I went in before and came to say hi to everyone while also worried cuz my bud wasn’t. Said thanks to her friend for the ticket and she’s chill. I’m 99% sure I said hi to her within the group at first and if not that’s my bad. Asked her about going the next event solo and she said no and going home early. Gave her the alternative for next weekend, can chill and enjoy the night. She was chatting with friends and I didn’t wanna intrude with my bud so I let her be. Id come up to her in small groups and she’d walk away after. My friend and I started doing our own thing sensing the vibe. She was pissed at the bar talking with her friend, when solo I asked if she wanted to come by my buds birthday briefly and she said no. Not long after I put my hand on her and she removed it in front of someone, then I said my goodbyes. Finally, not going to sleep over when vibes are horrible!

I (23M) texted my mother (47F) and father (47M) saying that I want to quit my job at an auto shop because my boss (46M) has been getting more into my privacy and I was just on my phone writing a comment to another person on Snoop Dogg's post that was easily interpreted as political, and my boss was peeking in asking me if I was blogging as I was writing a comment during my walk-in to work. My mother told me not to be bothered by him and to just say "that's private [name]," and I told her it was basically about a comment I just wrote on Snoop Dogg's post and he was just asking me nosy questions. My mom said, "maybe he's being friendly." I can't say no to him, he always gets bothered when I'm political even in private but he is actively political too, a very conservative anti-Democrat type. My mom said not to let it upset me and that maybe he's just trying to socialize with me. I told her I regret ever following my personal pages on the TikTok business page (from my shop on the work phone), and that while my boss doesn't really mind, it's getting on my nerves now. My mom said, "Then unfollow those so he doesn't see. Keep work [life] and personal [life] separate."

My dad said something similar, saying, "It's ok, he's [a] good guy, don't trip." He agreed that I should stay away from politics, but he just made a huge meme out of an overused Mitch McConnell joke that even nonpolitical pages use. My mom is actively political, and so is my boss, so it's hard for me to distance myself from politics. Plus, the vast majority of my followers on my TikTok pages are really that highly into politics.
Most of my family and the people around me hate or at least dislike Joe Biden. I'm not a fan of him either, but unlike most, I sympathize with Biden supporters.

I’m 23 and she is 22. We are both doing an international internship and work together, we’re both leaving at the end of August.

I can’t tell if she likes me or is just being nice. We’ve been out together (not just us) multiple times and the way she makes me feel is just nothing I’ve ever felt before. I found out that I might not work with her anymore due to certain reasons meaning she might have to leave. When I found out last Sunday it ruined my whole day and I still feel the sick-like feeling now.

On Monday we went out to drink at a rooftop bar. It was me, Person 2 (gay guy), Person 3 (girl), and her. I wanted to buy her a drink but decided to get everyone a shot to not make it weird. I was only planning to stop by quickly but she said she would buy me a drink at the next place they are going to, so I decided to stay. I was telling her about how work isn’t the same without her etc, and just catching up with her. Anyway, I stayed and went to the next place with her and the two other people, and we finished around 5am. Me and her were buying each other drinks all night. We actually went to a gay club as that was the closest. Whenever a guy tried dancing with me, she would get close to me and dance with me. When a girl tried dancing with her, I would try to do the same without being creepy as I don’t know if she feels the same way about me.

She had mentioned she wanted to get lunch with the group (the 4 people that went out). No one messaged in our group until like 2pm. Person 2 and 3 eventually said they were too tired to go out. I directly messaged the girl if she wants to grab some food. She told me that she’s at an appointment and can’t meet right away and that she’s also got dinner planned at 7pm.

How do I know if she likes me? I am so bad at stuff like this. I really like her and I don’t know whether should keep pursuing her. I haven’t directly said I like her because I don’t want to make things weird if she doesn’t feel the same.
