I have a job and a good amount of money. I just don't know where I want to live yet... but when the living situation question comes up this definitely turns off more women than it doesn't... So it's clearly a problem. I mean I plan on changing things in the next few months, but I am just figuring out what.

I'm a guy who's a bit shy and never really took risks when it comes to romance out of fear of being rejected or things becoming awkward. Lately, I've decided to change my ways, and I'm taking baby steps to accomplishing that. I want to ask out a girl I'm interested in, and although I know doing it in person is the best way, I just already know I'll fuck it up.

Girls, say there's a guy you talked to a few times at work or school and he has your number, if you're interested in him and find him attractive, would you care whether he asked you out over text, or would you find that a turn-off and explicitly want it to be done in-person?

I just find that I'm often not able to match the social energy of my peers and need to specify that certain things aren't really my thing and I need some time to rest and am a bit introverted in that sense. But I'm afraid I will get judged for that.
