Sometimes I watch Reporting from Ukraine just to see how the territorial map changes over time.

The Russian forces took Bakhmut. Then the tactical Terrikon mountain near Avdiivka. Then Avdiivka itself. Then they spread from Avdiivka until the next line of defense.

Now they're attacking the Kharkiv region, trying to creep in some more.

Historically from what I saw those small creeping territorial changes in other wars (such as the Korean war, Spanish civil war, Israel and Palestine show similar signs) tends to be like a slow acting poison, that'll overtake bigger areas sometime later.

I believe, that Ukraine is losing this war despite it seeming like a stalemate with smaller territorial losses creeping in. But then again, it's the 2. nd most powerful military against the country ranking among the top 20 most powerful military forces. References:

It continues to blow my mind how a platform that has existed since 2010 has continued to see "explosive growth" and no signs of slowing down, even though its model clearly has become flawed for its users ever since Facebook bought in 2012. The new shopping button on the app was the "final nail in the coffin" for many people, but it still wasn't enough to get a considerable amount of people to abandon the platform.

What will it take for the next social media platform to take over Instagram's and even TikTok's market share? I'm worried that Instagram is going to continue being the go-to platform even in 2030, but then again a lot can change in 9-10 years.
