This is a situationship as you'll soon guess. We get into these lovey-dovey phases to "just friends" and yet still do our usual things. God. I feel like a clown (probably cause I am one, yet I enrolled in more classes at Clown University, so might as well graduate with a tough lesson by the end of it).
For some reason after 3 months of no contact and 3 weeks of reconnecting, he has started telling me about this girl in his gaming friend group who keeps bothering him (and claiming him). It makes me anxious honestly, when talking about it, and he knows how I'll react when telling me (awkward, wanting to be territorial yet pulling myself back because I know we are not together, etc.) I swear I can hear him smile a bit when responding to my worries. I'm just so confused. Is this some kind of tactic? Am I entertainment? Why tell me? What is the point of telling me when it seems this girl isn't giving up? What am I supposed to do with the information besides worry and panic?
This is a message he sent to me about something she said regarding this weekend (he hangs out with drinking friends via VR on the weekend). "Also I need to be careful this weekend because she’s saying that we’re drinking buddies and “sorry if I try anything” like bruh lol anyways hope your day has been well so far and eat and drink water!"
LIKE WHAAATTT PEOPLE AM I GOING INSANE? LIKE WHAT?
Note: I'm not much of a drinker, never have been, I prefer flying high. While he's an extrovert, I am an introvert with a social battery so I don't tend to ask to join during these nights unless he invites me, so I don't slow down the party hype while spaced out.
I can send more statements regarding this whole thing if y'all want. But honestly, at the end of the day, I dont know if he's telling me because he dont give a fuck about how I feel, or he wants to ellict some kind of reaction out of me.
