What does it mean when a guy who knows you’re into him says he’s worried about you and he knows that he rejected me and how it feels?

He seen me crying right after we previously got done talking and he told one of my friends “me and her were in a conversation and when she came back from inside, it looked like she was crying and now I feel like a dick. I’m worried about her. Will you check on her and make sure she’s okay?” Why? He rejected me.

Okay. Then why does it matter if he didn't reject you yesterday? It doesn't. You don't need to reject someone multiple times. If he rejected you once, you're still rejected.
