I love my heritage. White people have had some amazing people throughout history. Some of the greatest inventors have been white, amazing world leaders, pastors, reverends, religious leaders who were white are also in our heritage. White props have dominated the world in so many different fields; math, science, government, space, technology etc. I am proud to be white and be apart of a race that has had so many accomplishments.

That being said, we could not have done it without other races as well. Our wars have been won with every race, we made it to space with the help of every race, we run government with every race, we go to church with every race. So what's my point? Accomplishments are not made because of a race they are made by and individual and those individuals are apart of teams. Your race and my race had absolutely nothing to do with anyone's accomplishments. But here's the kicker, your race and my race had absolutely nothing to do with failures either. A race dictates nothing at all. You do not win or lose because you are black or white.

So so my question is, when can we stop blaming races and stop using races as a crutch and start accepting responsibility and credit for our choices instead of our race?

i think the reason racial issues are still discussed is because racial harmony does not exist universally... still. and until that has been obtained we should still discuss, argue, and try to reach a place of racial harmony... no one should use their race, gender, age, etc as a crutch though

Here's some fun facts for you.

Throughout all of history, the race most responsible for enslavement is Asian people. (All of the Chinese and Japanese Empires pretty much entirely used slave labour as a means of construction). And they treated there slaves FAARRRR worse then blacks in early America.

Let's not even forget how most African Americans were sold to American slavers by other African Americans...

Like I said it's easy for you to say that race doesn't hold you back when you haven't really been held back because of your race. I'm not saying white people automatically have ALL privileges. White people have white privilege. That doesn't mean white people can't struggle from other things, like socioeconomic status or disabilities for example. It doesn't automatically mean that you have an awesome life. It simply means you benefit from being white.

White people are always catered to in movies, in magazines, newspapers, advertisements. White people don't face oppression. White people don't have to face the same amount of police brutality, like Sandra Bland. White people aren't automatically seen as thugs, or "ghetto", or suspicious. White people don't face racial profiling at airports, for example. If you are white, you have benefitted from white privilege. Even if you don't even notice it. And that, is exactly why it's a privilege. Because you don't even recognize it as a privilege, because it's something you've had your entire life. Of course you feel like you haven't benefitted from it directly when you don't even know how different your life could be if you were of a different race.

There's a very simple reason why Caucasoids came out on top. Geography.
White people were situated mostly in Europe which in comparrisson to the other continents was like warm soup, not too hot. Not too cold.

We had just the right ammount of resources to build shit and just the exact needed lack of certain resources to spurr competition. Add in the fact that more separate cultures developed due to more peninsulas, walleys and etc.
As opposed to India and china with their large landmasses. This meant that there was greater incentive for competition and also more foundations for making alliances.

That and the fact that the Atlantic is smaller than the Paciffic, making travel to and colonization of America easier.

So it's all down to geography and chance.

I'm proud of my heritage and there ain't no way I'm going to let some cunt tell me that White people are evil. We are f*cking awesome.
We ended institutionalized slavery, went to the moon, found cures to many diseases, created great works of art and music and made many inventions.

But those Nazis take it too far. They claim that we're better then everyone else and that simply isn't true. Historically we were more advanced but now we're seeing a rise in Asian development.

We are not the best, no one is. Every race has their good and their bad but it doesn't mean we should discriminate against a particular race as we are seeing more and more against Whites and Arabs.

I agree but in science, there is only one race. Homo Sapien race. In science race of a human is also a species. We are all one species. We are all 99.9% genetically the same. The.1% is the difference that made our physical differences in order to adapt to environment.

There is no specific gene or DNA that can only be found in a particular ethnic group like black that cannot be found in white or Asian person. We can all reproduce to each other because of our compatibility. We are all the same humans.

The differences we see are just superficial changes, that doesn't mean there is difference races or species. Just like the finches Darwin saw during his trip. He saw a bird that has longer beak and from one island shorter beak. He was surprised they are both the same bird. A finch!.

You can embrace your heritage, but to be proud of something that you had nothing to do with, seems quite insignificant. I can be proud of graduating at the top of my class, because I actually put in work to get this far. I love the skin that I'm in and I'm happy but it's also nothing to be proud of.

Depends on what type of white you are, ie. Just as Asians have like Chinese heritage, Japanese heritage etc, white people have Saxon heritage, Celtic heritage, Bavarian heritage, Prussian, etc etc (literally thousands of types).

For example, I grew up on an island in the Irish Sea, and all my family are Celtic and Saxon, so my heritage is very Nordic with things like Vikings and such.

White people decend from cultures just as long and rich as other people of colour.
