Obviously no, don't go Grand Theft Auto 5 out in the streets. Don't go "No Russian" at the Airport. But keep in mind--you should try to treat life a bit like a videogame. Dare I say, it's a good idea to play some games, walk outside to real life, and carry a few of those behaviors with you. Here's why!
1. Be bold. No matter the games you play... almost all require deciveness and boldness. Action.

And not just in fights and conflicts. Think about exploration video games. Whether that be Homefront or Mass Effect or Star Wars online games... When have you been playing a videogame and EVER felt afraid to approach and talk to someone?

The reality is, a simple bit of boldness and being a good conversationalist will solve a lot of your problems. It may feel intimidating to go talk to that girl or guy across the room... yet just like your games, it's pretty unlikely that they will unholster a gun and blow you away. They might give you a smart remark or snub you, but since when has that ever discouraged you?
2. Keep trying, no matter what.

Almost nothing worth achieving in life is going to be easy. Even when things are dull and gloomy... remember. You can push past it, and rise above the occasion. Bad times don't last forever. Especially if you refuse to let them!
3. Don't go it alone.

Everything is easier with a good team mate. Remember, friends, and a partner, are a vital part of life. Sometimes you can make it on your own, but even when it's possible, that doesn't mean you need to walk off by yourself. Make your journey worth remembering with good friends and loved ones. You may have been betrayed before, but at the end--the risk is worth the reward you can find in other people.
5. Don't forget to stop and admire the scenary. After all, what's the point of reaching the end if you didn't get any amazement out of the journey?

So go forth! Play some good games, walk out into real life, and mimic a few of the good habits you can pick up in the fiction and stories you have immersed yourself into.
