You been brainwashed. Although I understand how in the USA how pervasive the Christian and Catholic religions are... I was once a devoted Christian and went to both Catholic and Christian churches... long story short. I still believe in a higher power, but now I understand religion very well - much better than most people and understand the secret doctrines. What you've been taught isn't the bible. It's a revision of the bible done by men and it's meant to keep you a slave without you knowing.

I completely disagree. I am an atheist and I do believe that churches can instill good beliefs in people but I this simply doesn't happen enough. I personally am an an atheist but that's because I believe science more because of the evidence and that I dont agree with the Bible on a lot of subjects.

Far too many "progressive" ideologies espousing unity want us to compromise our unique identity, effectively sacrificing that which makes us human and worth preserving in the first place. Religion for better or worse is a part of that. I think that capitalism will inevitably unite us.
