Bob Ross was the guy you would probably watch after school after the cartoons on PBS were off the air.His love for painting, wildlife, and his soft soothing voice provided comfort for millions of people. He always seemed to have such an upbeat look on life. Butbefoe he was ever a sucessful painter he was a Master Sargeant in the US Air Force stationed in Alaska. After retiring from the Air Force he vowed to never yell or raise his voice again. In fact his show is still so popular even after almost Twenty Five years after the last episodes were made that they are still reran on a constant basis on PBS stations nationwide and world wide.
Bad Gives Rise to good, just as good feeds into bad.
Beauty is everywhere, you just have to look for it
You can do anything as long as you believe in yourself
The World can be anyhing you make of it
We learn from everything we do. There are no mistakes.
Surround yourself with things that make you happy
We should all strive to be more like trees
Everyday can be a good day when you do what you love.
Don't be afraid to take life slow and easy
Variety is the spice of life
Most Importantly: Don't forget to add a happy little tree
Beat the devil out of that brush
Bob Ross was certainly a joy to many in his life and afterwards. He always seemed to remain positive even in trying times. But he was a man who was not let lifes troubles get him down. In fact, he found joy in the simple things. We should all do the same. Happy Painting!
