@LordChilled I get what you are saying, and I am seeing part of your point. The problem with comparing men to sharks though is that it is not in the nature of men to rape. Men are capable of understanding how awful it is and not doing it. (Women too actually.)

You know, my country treated women badly a few centuries back, in 18s and before that I suppose. Until one day, there was this woman who wasn't allowed an independent life and higher education. But she learned a foreign language by herself--Dutch--and she also read a lot of books which made her want to start a revolution for women so they could go out and as respected as men. So she started correspondences with some Dutch ladies out there and told them her stories that women weren't allowed to be 'smart' etc. Then, people seemed to notice her efforts, even after she died, people still wanted to make women in my country lived better because of her.
Now see, my country is in the much nicer condition than in that era. If you want to make women in your country live better, so do it with better efforts too, not by hating men! Sorry, but it's a lowly way for a revolution.

1) It's women who have to start a movement against all the injustice that happens with us. Why can't good men ever inspire bad men to NOT be bad? They're doing nothing so we have to deal with the issues alone.
2) And men expect us to start a movement for make rape victims too? Why aren't they doing it for themselves? We all want the world to be a better place and instead of doing it joining each other they are starting a game of throwing stones with us.
3) Tell me how many fathers teach their sons not to disrespect girls.
I have every reason to hate men.
You need to really listen coz your going tonher something important. You can't build a life on hate, it doesn't work. You can't channel hate against one person or group, you can't control it at all, it controls and defines you. We human beings thrive from things like kindness and selflessness and patience. What destroys us inside out is greed, hate, selfishness, jealousy and those type of things. You'll grow into a twisted person and other people won't just hate you and ostracize you, you'll hate yourself too and subconsciously sabotage everything you do. There's no such thing as patriarchy, its made up propaganda. Your dad was an arsehole that's all, there's plenty more out there of both genders. 1) Why not? If you think you're right so why should you wait for some men to make your lives better? If you really love your gender, 'give' an act not wait for 'act'. That's the idea of love, giving without forcing to receive what you give. It's why lots of people hurt because of love, and because they 'demand' something though it's unnecessary. Why wait for them? Just focus on your purpose, like Kartini. If your purpose is to make your gender better, you should focus on it.
2) Because that's exactly how feminists nowadays are. They feel they are treated badly by men, raped, abused... Though it's just some of them who do that. I as a woman think that feminists want to make men kneel down in front of women in this era, even though it's not the idea of feminism, right?
3) There is a lot of them in my country, especially from the religious families because our religion never taught to do so. (People in my country also see the world from the religion perspective).
by the way, why didn't you stop it yourselves--that man who slaps a girl in public? Have you talked to your dad about these things you've been thinking about? If your dad is really kind-hearted, he will help you throw that patriarchy stuff.

Why I couldn't stop them? The last time I witnessed it, I was too small to have the courage to stop them. How old was I? 12 I guess. My only mistake was that I never got a good environment to play sports for girls. Now ever year I see the girl's tournament, and think to myself that I could have been the captain of the team. In Canada (a developed, supposedly tolerant country btw) a man tried to establish mens shelters, along with a former feminist woman, and they got ZERO help from feminists and all the funding for shelters went to womens shelters. The feminists may not have actively shut them down but they sure as hell made sure he couldnt get the needed support. Would hurt the " male bad guy, female victim" image, wouldn't it?
So the guy finally commited suicide and the woman had to change the place she lived in because she kept getting death threats from feminazis.
