I think marijuana should be legalized for so many reasons. The health aspects of it alone, what it can do for different illnesses from minor to severe

The pros out way the cons entirely when it comes to this plant. It's still being used in more and more research as time goes by and proving it to be useful in many ways. It's being used in trials with people who have tourettes and I've read about some great outcomes with it so far. My son has this illness and I see first hand how much of a struggle it is day and night for anyone. It kills cancer cells in brain tumors which is amazing! There are so many great things we have learned to use this for and even the extracted oils can be used. Yet people still continue to condemn this amazing god given gift and yes I said god given gift because it is used to help people, to heal people. I truly believe he didn't put it on this earth for nothing. It's no gateway drug like the government labeled it to be sixty years ago,back then no one had the technology we do now to use it for the good things it was meant to be used for today. Marijuana has never killed anyone, you can't overdose on it and you can't get alcohol poisoning from it. The most it will do to someone with recreational use is make you healthy from eating a lot and get a great night's sleep. There are so many people I've known personally in the past that have hit the hard drugs without out even looking at marijuana. It's stupid decisions that put them there not a plant that can be harvested for amazing uses. It makes me so mad because unlike all the drugs and pills we Are having to put in our bodies that cause side effects and will cause harm the long run, doctors and who ever approves those aren't thinking twice about shoving them down our throats are they. Now I'm not saying marijuana is the cure for it all but it can take the place of some of the actual harmful drugs we are putting in our systems and there's not one bad side effect to it. Now to me,somebody that has to take a hand full of those drugs everyday, if it could replace even just a few it would be such a blessing, less of a toll on my body all the way around and I know others would most definitely feel the same way....marijuana needs to be legalized! You do the math for yourself.

All drugs should be legal. It's not the government's job to tell us what we can and can not put into our own bodies.

How did you come up with the fact that pot is the cause of that? If it's used responsibly, like you use Tylenol for headaches responsibly, it does good. The person is already an idiot when he or she chooses to take advantage of it. Like a person is already an idiot when he or she chooses to drink that beer before he or she drives.

Yes! I get you but just think of all the stupid kids coming out of school (ditching) to go have a kick back and smoke freely and easier because it's legal. It's bad enough when a proposition vote comes around you see all kind of stupid people wearing their Jamaican colors and hats to represent.

Kids ditching school, well, that falls back on the parents not being strict enough with their children and also not whipping that butt. My mom tore my but up from elementary through high school and at times made it to where I couldn't do anything but look at the 4 walls of my bedroom if I stepped out of line with her and she was a single parent raising me and my older sister. So there's no excuse for that. I went to school with kids that did do those things and there parents didn't care what they did as long as they came home at night and yeah a lot of those kids have grown up today to be a bunch of losers not gonna lie. Some of them their parents bought them everything they wanted just to keep their kids out of their hair so they ditched school. None of these parents bothered keeping track of them at home and at school, calling about their grades, their homework. I do all these things with both my sons and I'm a divorced mom raising them. They are not grown until they are graduated.

Until then they are my full responsibility, it's my job to make sure they get there no matter what because they come first. It's called a lot of sacrificing. Now as far as the Jamaican colors and stuff I don't know where you've been seeing that. Haven't seen anything like that. I have you to know pot smokers are not stupid. There are some that act stupid, there is a difference. For instance the ones that kept ditching school. There are some that stayed in school graduated with honors and continued their life like anyone else and you would have never known that they smoked. Just as intelligent as anyone else that knows what they are talking about.
