I have no problem with trans people. I have a few trans friends and you should live your life and not care what people think about you
Very interesting take... trying to have an open mind.
My goal is love my kids
Oh, not this again...
It's so important that people see what we have to say! :)
It's like same sex marriage, I don't care at all! It's your crotch, not mine.
Unfortunately about 1/2 of this country and about 3/4's of those over 40 don't see it that way. It has been a hard and often literally bloody battle to get where we are today. And we still have a long way to go.
@wagsingle And I still don't care. It's not my fight, I have nothing to gain in this but trouble. It's the least of my concerns.
A lot of white folks said that during the civil rights movement too. But without white advocates things wouldn't have changed.
@wagsingle Yeah, but there is a slight difference in context here. Nowadays, western societies are very open and acceptant.
Complete and utter bullshit.
I am a person I am not bullshit I am just a girl on the internet explaining my experiences being born in a boy body you shouldn't be mean to us.
It's not being mean, it's calling out your craziness. Can't imagine where you came up with all of this, but it's a giant load of crap. "Born in a boy body..." Ridiculous.
And just how would you know that it's ridiculous? Does being cisgender make you omniscient?
@JenSCDC No but we have common sense because we're not mentally ill...
@samsmoove Whenever someone argues "common sense", it's equivalent to admitting defeat. Much of reality defies "common sense", which is merely a shorthand term for "haven't actually examined anything in detail nor given it rigorous thought". If you open your mind to new ideas you'll be amazed at what you can learn.
@Browneye57 is absolutely right. You were born in a male body? That means you are male. You can have yourself surgically altered and that doesn't make you a female; it just makes you a guy who was crazy enough to have his body mutilated. I can get some antlers grafted on my head and that doesn't make me a fucking moose!
Hate you? We don't know that you exist and we don't care until you get in our face with your SJW rant and give us a reason to hate you Obviously, you desperately long to be recognized as a "normal" person, so I have a suggestion to help you with that: Start acting like a normal person instead of a freak.
@JenSCDC No it's called common sense because it shouldn't have to be explained to anybody... unless they are mentally ill like the people with mental disorders like GID...
@samsmoove Monty Hall Problem, Simpson's Paradox...
@OlderAndWiser, It's true it's a medical condition. But there's no reason to be harsh for that reason. I thinks the guy should share his opinion in a more polite and lesser harsh way. It shouldn't matter if it's transsexuals, schizophrenia, BIID, BDD, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia or something else. Just because it's a rare condition that's difficult to live with don't give any excuse for being harsh. That's just my opinion.
Wow, this is an interesting myTake...
Always annoying seeing these stupid labels
I don't care. Sorry.
Whats cis?
It's what used to be called "normal". When you have male body and mind, you are cisgender male.
@Ceins yeah I hope y'all understand that calling cis people normal really hurts our feelings.
@Ceins
@Ceins oh hmmm as opposed to what, u say it as if there were people who were not normal
Yea I understand that, I used "." and past form for that reason.
@Ceins Oh ok thanks :) Believe it or not I've heard that a lot people saying "Cis? You mean normal lol" which hurts my feelings.
I didn't mean it in negative way :P English is not my first language so maybe that's the thing. I believe you've heard things like that. Gender and sex is still hot topic, there is a lot confusion about it. I guess to many people cisgender will mean "normal" forever, especially the older ones.
@Ceins are you normal or cis?
Not to offend you (and i honestly dont see how it would) but cis gender IS normal the same way a person with typical skin is normal compared to somebody with a skin pigment anomaly (which i think is actually quite a beautiful thing but it will never be normal)
Transgender, as much as people try to normalise it, is NOT normal. It is an anomoly, and yes it should be accepted, we should stop keeping you from getting what you need to have the quality of life you deserve, the same way we should be allowing gay marriage and stopping factory farming.
But being an anomoly, because thats what transgenderism is, an anomoly, otherwise it would be just as common as cisgender, and as such it would be incorrect to call it normal.
3 legged cats cause no harm but theyre not normal.
Fish that need floaties to swim are fine but theyre not normal.
Dogs that have had their vocal chords clipped have my pity but theyre not normal
Normal isn't an insult its a fact.
And the fact is you aren't normal.
But that doesn't make you bad, just different.
doesn't make you any less acceptable in my eyes.
@BaileyisDarcy I know I'm not normal but it doesn't feel right when people describe you as abnormal by calling people without your anomaly normal.
yeah like she said not being normal is not bad, its just something that isn't common.
... but you ARE abnormal.
@BaileyisDarcy That may be true but it hurts our feelings to be called abnormal
I dont understand that how does getting called the thing you are hurt?
I get called a bitch a lot, but i know its true so it dorsnt hurt. Cause i am a bitch.
I've been called ugly but that hurt because its not true.
I've been called white like its an insult but i am white so that didn't hurt.
How does being called abnormal hurt when its a fact? I dont understand
@BaileyisDarcy It's just not nice to us being normal as a identifying factor due to the association of being normal with being better.
@BaileyisDarcy Words often taken to mean more than their strict definition.
well said
@wagsingle words are defined by whatever society defines them as. So, there are norms, and things that aren't norms. being normal is not better, I have never heard that.
Lot of weird posts here today.
Are you a tranny?
Transsexual/transgender = Person who identify as the opposite sex
Tranny, ladyboy, shemale = When a transgender person works in the sex industry. Later used as slur.
Pretty sure tranny is just short for transsexual. I just want to know if she was born with a penis.
I'm cisgender
I'm cisgender
What are you saying
That you shouldn't be mean to transgender people.
You are transgender
Thanks for sharing
