Oct. 31, 2017: Truck rams into cyclists, pedestrians in New York City
Sayfullo Saipov, 29, from Uzbekistan, allegedly drove a rented truck into a crowd of pedestrians and cyclists on a bike path near the World Trade Center in Manhattan while shouting Allah hu Akbar. The attack killed 8 people and injured at least 12 others.

US officials quickly labelled it as a Terrorist attack in which only 12 people were killed.
Attacker was identified as a MUSLIM.

And up to this day, irrespective of the number of people killed, It isn't considered a TERRORIST attack.

I'm not saying non Christian attacks aren't happening as ratio in my examples is 2:1. I chose these examples as they are the most recent.
After all these attacks on America, the question arises if America itself is discriminating against the Muslim community as each and every Muslim attack is labeled as TERRORISM and on the contrary, attacks by Christians with higher kills are labeled as just VIOLENCE.
My answer to this question is a big NO. The reasons for these labels is hidden in the definition of Terrorism itself.
The most common definition is: It is the use of violence or threat of violence in the pursuit of political aims, religious, or ideological change.

Definition by UN: The unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social OBJECTIVES.
One thing you can find common in all these definitions is terrorism should have Political or Religious Motives. All attacks by Christians were having personal motives. Stephen Paddock attacked on a crowd as a result of frustration. He lost his money in gambling and got frustrated.
All attacks by Muslims were for political or Religious motives. That makes Muslim attacks terrorism and these Christian attacks as violence.
