Do you really feel like your daily life really is affected by the fact that some gay comedian is making a joke? I'm straight myself and I've literally never felt marginalized or affected by the fact that I'm straight. I haven't been bullied because I'm straight. I haven't had people try to convert my sexuality into something else through mental and physical abuse. I've never felt the need to hide my heterosexuality. I've never felt as though I need to "come out" with the fact that I'm straight.
Like forreal you just wanna try so hard to feel discriminated against that it's actually funny. This is not a problem. At all.

I never said everyone will experience heterophobia, just like not everyone will experience racism. Obviously if someone were writing a take condemning homophobia or misogyny, nobody would say it’s “hilarious”. Just because you don’t experience heterophobia or misandry doesn’t mean they aren’t real.

Because those are actual problems that actually affect people's lives. You're just mad that a lesbian comedian made a joke about how shitty men can be at dating. Jesus lmao. And the reason why some people find it interesting to re-imagine characters as gay is not because they have some weird mindset that heterosexual people are the worst, but because gay people are severely underrepresented in all forms of media and it's interesting to see something breaking the norm. There's no reason to re-write gay characters as straight though, as 99% of the media consume already caters to straight people. So like don't even.

This is only a example. In fact there is nearly a endless amount of scenarios where heterophobia is present but of course I’m not going to put every single one here. It’s clear that you didn’t read the whole take either since you are only referring to the first part. The fact that you are also implying that misandry “isn’t” real shows that you have some biases.

And yes Heterophobia and misandry are actual problems that people are too scared to talk about. Just because you never experienced heterophobia doesn’t mean other people don’t face heterophobia. As for misandry, since you aren’t a male you can’t completely understand what misandry is unless you try put yourself in a man’s shoes like this woman did, she was actually able to see what men go through. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CjsDtXYh3k4

Now you’re using the false dilemma fallacy. I’ve already told you that your so called “reliable” sources like CNN, Buzzfeed and Huffpost will never do research on this topic because it doesn’t fit their narrative. It’s no conspiracy theory and it’s not a opinion. It’s because these websites are very biased.

I never said CNN or whatever. I asked for proper data. Research standard that is scientific.

You are the one presenting the case. You are supposed to give proper proof and relevant data. You can't present something and tell people to go look for it. You can't present a goblin and tell people to Google for proof.

Did you read your source? It says men report more abuse than women. So what conclusion can you get from that? Men report more than women. Men get abused more than women. Or what?

Then relevancy. What does that conclusion has anything to do with your take which is about heterophobia.

This take us about both heterophobia and a little bit about misandry. What you seem to be looking for when you say “Data” and ”sources” are statistics. When it comes to heterophobia, it’s not going to have it’s separate category. It’s going to be lumped together with “discrimination based on sexual orientation”. Keep in mind that Statistics aren’t always reliable because they are so easy to make up.

So you don't have anything to prove your point. You shown that men reports more abuses. And you conclude from that people subtlety have heterophobia. You are going to need a mighty amount of reasoning.

Right you can make up statistics and data then what else you can't make up? That's why I asked for proper data. Stuff that can be verified by repeating it with another data collection.

Do you know how scientific method work? Critical reading? Data collection? Peer review? Repeat tests?

You keep repeating yourself and keep putting words in my mouth. I never said that my data could be faked, I said that the data you demand can be faked. I keep telling you why nobody has done research on this yet here you are continuing to bicker. Yet you keep screaming “conspiracy!” “Tin foil!” “give me real data!” It seems that all you want is to keep this argument going. I’ve given you more than enough data yet here you go with your misguided skepticism just because this data doesn’t fit your narrative.
