I don't smile. So people won't talk to me. I really don't like conversing with people...
It would always be old creepy men asking me to smile.
If physiognomy doesn't allow smiling, it's a real disadvantage. Not only in relationships but with all social interactions. It's like saying I can't shake hands or something like that.
I get asked the same thing all the time. So annoying.
You're a woman, so you are merely an ornamental piece of property. You do not have any value except as a plaything or decoration, so you are required to smile.
Most men never have to put up with that crap. We are allowed to be humans.
Sadly it's true. Women are expected to grin like idiots all the time, have zero opinions unless they have to do with something fun, and never ever share how they really feel. Unless of course they feel giddy, excited, or just plain happy. In other words, fake happy is better than real neutral.
@PinkishPink, what is the BEST part of that? It is OTHER WOMEN who put in the most effort to enforce these standards and punish women who do not live by them! Men don't oppress women. Men don't NEED to oppress women. Other women are THRILLED to oppress women on the men's behalf!
you know what? You're right. Women set these crazy standards because they worry some other woman might be happier than they are so it's just best to rain on her parade. So that she doesn't feel too comfortable.
For the same reason I hate working for female bosses. Nothing but drama.
People tell me I should smile more all the time. I wish to tell them "The day you die is the day I smile", but that's evil and people are still of use to me.
