If you think the need for the drat has disappeared, think about. If there were the case them males wouldn't still be required to register for it when they hit 18. But to all the feminist that enjoy the special rights that men don't have, I have to warn you, I don't have the freedom you have and I won't fight should the need arise, you have the freedom it's your fight not mine.

But to all the feminist that enjoy your special rights and freedom I don't have men don't have, I have to warn you, I don't have those same freedoms you have and I won't fight for yours should the need arise, you will fight next time, it's your fight not mine. I won't
@chopper1977 And you may get your chance to make good on fare fine, fasten your seatbelts cause there's currently turbulence with China and I'll remember your comment going forward.
I have already served... and if I was recalled to serve again I would not hesitate to do so. Some of us take pride in defending this country so that the likes of you can continue living your mundane albeit free life.
@chopper1977 Oh, the likes of me? You mean while YOU as a woman has all the freedoms and privileges that I as a MAN DON'T have? That's right, the LIKES OF ME!
Yeah sure, you don't have rights... older white male I presume? I profile you as white, because it is typically the white man who sits high on his horse whining and complaining that all others somehow have all these rights that he lacks. In reality, it is men like you who are threatened by having to share their alpha posts at the top of the totem pole. You have been privileged for so many generations that you have no true recollection of what it feels like to be equal to blacks, females etc. Dear god, imagine what it would feel like for you to be the minority... white female marine veteran here. Your welcome.
@chopper1977 No, it's not just me as the white man, MGTOW is in the millions and believe me, it's black men to. We're all aware of the system that been setup in favor of women, we're aware, and service men are included in MGTOW too.
Please continue with your little online support system then... it wasn't even that long ago that women won the right to vote, and you sit there whining about not having the same rights as even a woman... pfpppfffttt!!! Just so you know, us women who want equality; we want to be drafted. I know I am capable; therefore, I expect to be treated as capable. Additionally, they didn't have to draft my ass because I volunteered. Did you? I have six years of higher education under my belt, so if I do climb the ranks quicker than some of my male counterparts, it's not because I haven't earned it.
@chopper1977 Earned the right to vote. I love how that gets twisted. Yeah women and men earned the right to vote, unless they owned property, that is. You know what I'm saying true. Feminist are yelling rape culture and that actually does exist. But it's not women that's being raped, it's men in court rooms having their children stolen from them and their livelihoods. Men are being persecuted literally, where's our special treatment females get? Sorry men aren't valued end of story.
Women should not be coddled, not in the post-feminist age. They want the rights of men, they get the responsibilities of men, too. No voting men off to die in wars while knowing you can sit back with impunity.
I'm not sure why the two anons are being downvoted when plenty of men believe women are much more valuable. I've read history books of great leaders who considered men to be expendable. The truth is men are indeed seen as less valuable because men consider them to be such.

They are always wanting to be equal, thinking any job a man can do i can do better, Then lets see them enjoy this. or will they back down, or do they just want the easy jobs or complain about there wages forever. I say draft them. THERE wanting to be men in the first place treat them as such
@chopper1977 you choose to be there. I'm talking about drafts you t*** ... Read before you post only men have ever drafted.. A person that services and not out of desire to be there
i heard they eventually will be or something, required to register for selective service otherwise they lose the ability to qualify for benefits like financial aid, etc. well for in the states i mean. perhaps they wouldn't make all units co-ed and that women would be in all-women units, not sure what else is there about it.

I’d have no problem with being drafted in but you make some very good points too. Guess I’m just not a girly girl since I hang with guys a lot too. My guy friend (and women also) even said it’d have suited me to have gone in, but life had other plans for me.
when a male turns 18 he has an option to sign for selective service which is basically the next draft if he doesn't sign it he will lose the majority of his rights as an us citizen
because women only want the desirable parts of traditionally male roles and none of the burdens. Likewise they only want to unload their burdens but not the perks of being female.
Ever see feminists demonstrating because there aren't enough female drywall workers or too few male nurses?
I don't see a place for women on the battlefield UNLESS they are willing to bust ass and work just as hard as the men do. I don't think your average woman has what it takes to be a soldier and I don't see the point in drafting us.
I say draft women too. I dont care what role they play, but if i'm gonna risk my life in a pointless war then some of them should come along for the ride. Seriously its amazing how disrespectful a lot of women are these days, and yet the expect us to protect their asses the moment things go south. Fuck that, they wanna be protected here's a gun.

Woman are not physically stronger than men in general due to differences in our biological makeup.
Men and women are not equal but both sexes have their own strengths and weakness.
All these western woman in their comfort bubble think they can get drafted to a war zone and actually do something useful. Bullshit
If you go 50/50 in the military, the talibans are going to laugh their ass off as you get fkd in actual, bloody, arduous combat. Women are not suited for murdering and destroying.
@xhejo Honestly, if I was in a trench, and I saw a pack of five women get mutilated by a grenade, screaming in pain and terror, it would just be a whole new level of wrong. They're the ones who are supposed to be safe in the first place...
Women should absolutely be part of the draft now. They just shouldn't be on the front lines because they compromise the safety of the men serving with them.
War is very different today than it was during the Vet Nam war, for example. It is much more tech driven and service centric. There are plenty of positions in which women can serve without endangering others.
So yeah, I don't buy any of the reasons listed above. I could give just as many valid reasons why men shouldn't serve.
Haha 3 women thus far downvoted this. That is a purely objective argument. How can anyone logically disagree with that. Equal rights + equal responsibilities = being drafted for war. The down votes just prove the point you just made.
Personally, I dont think that men or women should be drafted period. I think that joining the military should be a personal decision. It is tough to get in to the military for both men and women.
I don't think women should be drafted, but every one of your points are contradictory to the current view of women in the military, which is a bit ironic lol
Those are not my points of view. They are reasons that have been given in general as to why women should not serve. The only real definitive one I see, is number 1, and that only applies to certain women (and in some cases, men). I truly believe that there should be no draft. I want people in that position that want to be there and feel that they are upholding freedom or whatever they believe in, not someone who worked in a mall kiosk and are scared out of their minds..notice I said people, aka men too. Let people go who voluntarily want to be there, which is the system we have working now.

Oh and by the way, women not required to register for or to be drefted, this isn't equality, for all you feminist out there.
No shit. Both sexes should have to register for the selected service. It's okay by the way, I think we will all fare just fine without your service.

@chopper1977 Earned the right to vote. I love how that gets twisted. Yeah women and men earned the right to vote, unless they owned property, that is. You know what I'm saying true. @chopper1977 letting them vote was a HUGE mistake by the way. Look what has happened. That is how Obama got on the ballot and elected for one
@malegender Totally that is for certain.
Women should not be coddled, not in the post-feminist age. They want the rights of men, they get the responsibilities of men, too. No voting men off to die in wars while knowing you can sit back with impunity.
Well placing women in battlefield is like fighting a war with needle or trying to sew with a sword..
Things are made for a reason each has their job.. Don't mess it up..
Besides a women can offer 10 times the stuff inside the nation than being in battlefield..

Um veteran here... I didn't serve because I wanted to be a man. What a sick sexist fuck you are to assume as much.

I thought the draft ended but if it didn't I think it should end. No one should be forced to put their life on the line.

no one should be drafted men nor women
what if there is a hostile force invading your town, what if they will rape your mothers or sisters?
If you go 50/50 in the military, the talibans are going to laugh their ass off as you get fkd in actual, bloody, arduous combat. Women are not suited for murdering and destroying.
Lol this made me laugh, so true. It’s fine if they wish to, but your everyday women wouldn’t fair so well in the military.
@xhejo Honestly, if I was in a trench, and I saw a pack of five women get mutilated by a grenade, screaming in pain and terror, it would just be a whole new level of wrong. They're the ones who are supposed to be safe in the first place...
As a women I don't want to be drafted I don't want to die.
So should guys be drafted? We don't want to die as well.
@Deathraider I know drafting is a sad thing😞
Women should absolutely be part of the draft now. They just shouldn't be on the front lines because they compromise the safety of the men serving with them.

Feminism - give me all the benefits of being a male with none of the responsibilities
Haha 3 women thus far downvoted this. That is a purely objective argument. How can anyone logically disagree with that. Equal rights + equal responsibilities = being drafted for war. The down votes just prove the point you just made.
Those who don't want to be drafted shouldn't be drafted. Period.
Women's contribution to run an economy when men have been out to war is so valuable though.
Personally, I dont think that men or women should be drafted period. I think that joining the military should be a personal decision. It is tough to get in to the military for both men and women.
I don't think women should be drafted, but every one of your points are contradictory to the current view of women in the military, which is a bit ironic lol
