Have you ever thought about what your life would be like if you didn't have aisles and aisles of food to choose from in the supermarket? Clothes to buy? How about if you didn't have drugs that were needed to save your life, like antibiotics, insulin, vaccines or any number of other lifesaving pharmaceuticals? How about what life would be like with no transportation, no cars, buses, trains, boats or planes? Or how about no electricity? Think you'd be here reading this without it? Gas or oil to heat your home... How would you be doing without that? What about the house you live in? How'd you be doing if you were living without a home?
Have you ever thought about how every one of these things, and an endless list of other things that you rely on to enhance your life, not to mention survive, would not exist if not for someone who was motivated by the prospect of making a profit to go into business to make it available to you? Every one of these things is brought to you by a business that is in the business of providing you with the things YOU WANT. Without them where would those things come from? How would your need and desire for these things be fulfilled? Have you ever thought about that? You’d be hunting woolly mammoths in your loin cloth.
Yet day and night we are bombarded with messages from the liberal media and the stooges that regurgitate their brainwashed babble that somehow the profit motive is immoral. As if somehow these things just materialize by themselves, appear out of nowhere, grow on trees. As if somehow it is immoral for a business to create the means to supply all of these goods and services people want and rely on and expect to make money doing it.
Let me ask you something. Did you go to work today with no pay? Why not? That would be the moral thing to do wouldn't it according to liberals? Are you greedy or something? Why do you expect to make a profit for your time and effort? You CAPITALIST PIG YOU!
Of course you are making enough money. You don’t want a raise. You are making enough money and it would be greedy to expect any more. Let someone else have the rest of your pay instead because you are and eco conscious, enlightened vegan after all.
One of the mental problems liberals have is that any kind of behavior is okay for THEM to engage in even if it is behavior they claim is immoral. But the other guy? No way! If he does it it's immoral. You see this from liberals over and over and over again. The Democrats in Washington, you think they don't have walls around their houses? They live in cloistered communities with giant walls around them. Yet they claim that walls don't work and the rest of the country doesn't deserve them anyway. The walls are moral for them, but not for the rest of us.
Yet they call the guy who WANTS the wall for the rest of us the mental case? Think about that.
The fact is that entire world would be living in the stone age if it wasn't for the profit motive. The vast majority of the inventions and innovations that have massively improved and saved the lives of the entire human race were motivated by people who were inspired by the prospect of making a profit, and preferably a HUGE profit.
You want to talk about morals? The capitalist profit motive has liberated more people from poverty, starvation, disease, tyranny and short lifespans than any other motivating force know to man. THAT'S what moral is about. It is precisely in those societies where the profit motive is outlawed where the people suffer the most. To badmouth the profit motive is the epitome of IMMORAL.
