Never seen so much bullshit. I think the most toxic thing is women telling men how they're supposed to behave and which parts of masculinity are allowed. You're telling us that women get judged too much, but look at what you're doing. And then go disguise it as benevolent when it's really just misandry.
even if women advise men they are not violent, women don't do honour killings, domestic abuse, acid attacks or force someone into marriage to make a point.
I agree there's problems especially in middle eastern countries, and India especially but don't really agree if you're just talking about America in general *shrug*
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy. Pakistanis justified Asma Aziz being tortured just because she was a party girl. They troll Pakistani actresses for wearing short clothes. Honour killings, domestic abuse, forced marriages, acid attacks, rapes, harassment are a big problem in Pakistan but the bigger problem is shaming victims. Shaming women is the root cause of honour killings, domestic abuse, rapes and harassment. Islamic extremists think any woman who has her head uncovered or has a white skin, doesn't deserve respect. In Iran, non-Hijabis are attacked in public. Patriarchy gave birth to female infanticide, honour killings, domestic abuse and forced marriages.
I still just don't understand what toxic masculinity has to do with masculinity. I just see toxicity as toxicity, I get the feeling the only reason it was attached to masculinity is because some of the most toxic people around are the feminists that coined the term so they built it into the name so people couldn't point the finger straight back at them.
Ha! I don't even need to read this sh*t because I already know what's written. You are just another misandrist aka man-hater. Your language is so easy to spot. Seriously, it's so pathetic. And most men are not violent towards women. That's just another one of your feminist sh*t talk that can be spotted from a mile away. Stop listening and reading to that liberal content. It's a bunch of lies created by misandrists and being used to destroy society.
Ah another female who thinks she has any say in men's issues, fuck off you don't know what your talking about, come back to the discussion when you are born with a penis
No one forces men to do anything. There will be people who think other men are pussies, assholes etc., but this has always been the case and has nothing to do with toxic masculinity. It’s just the way people form opinions.
Baby girls are still aborted without a mother's permission. Many infant girls are killed by their fathers who prefer sons. Many are married off before the age of 18 because they are considered a burden. Many are killed in the name of honour when they are caught having boyfriends. Many are forced into prostitution at the age of 10 by their parents because of debt that might only be 800 pounds according to the British currency.
So, women are still slaves in developing countries, where men don't want daughters and they are considered a burden by their parents, who then marry their daughters off below the age of 18 and they are not allowed to come back even if they are not happy. A woman who has no job or education feels the need to stay with her abusive husband just to have two meals a day especially when her parents treat her like a burden, and not every country helps unemployed people. Some women even commit suicide.
All those dislikes make me laugh so harsh. Hahahahahahaha As a Muslim and Pakistani woman, I have the right to say patriarchy is bullshit because of personal experience and the shit Pakistanis and Muslims do to women. Pakistanis justified Asma Aziz being tortured just because she was a party girl and Qandeel Baloch being murdered for being provocative on social media. They always troll actresses for wearing short clothes. They were offended when an actress received a national award in a Islamic country.
@tiajoka this site respects people's ideas, opinions and their art, that's why no one is allowed to downvote articles. Just because someone doesn't like pink doesn't mean pink is not pretty, it just means that person's taste in colours is different. Mehwish Hayat once said, "you can be the juiciest peach and someone will still not like peaches." The way I can't expect 7 billion people to like the colour pink, I can't expect everybody to like my article.
@tiajoka you didn't support this article because you live in America, you don't know what women across the world go through. I just explained this to another American girl. I feel like American girls should be banned from reading my article but then they should because they take so much for granted. For many girls, being allowed to have birth was also a privilege, being accept by their fathers and grandmothers, being allowed to go to school, to get a job, not getting married off before the age of 18, not being killed for having a boyfriend, being allowed to have a love marriage, being allowed to go for shopping on their own and wear what they want to wear.

We get it, you're a whiny crybaby.
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy.
lmao
This is just Feminist propaganda..
It's about as helpful as the more radical MGTOW stuff.
even if women advise men they are not violent, women don't do honour killings, domestic abuse, acid attacks or force someone into marriage to make a point.
women are just as evil as men are, if you believe otherwise you have a toxic belief system based on lies.

Well written take.
I came here expecting a fake feminist rant but I'm really happy with what I've read here.
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy.
I don't really believe in patriarchy but I do agree there is oppression against women and men in different situations

So not true. Not even in tribes in the middle of nowhere.
Expect the right-wingers to attack you... this is exactly the type of clear thinking they hate
who are the right wingers?
I think it really depends on WHAT or WHY men cry. It is okay but it depends on the reason:
Okay to cry about:
Parent dying
Long time pet dying
In extreme physical agony (Like breaking a limb)
Failing to protect someone who depended on you
NOT okay to cry about:
Not getting your way
Using this emotion to guilt-trip somebody else
Your favorite football team losing a match
Definitely thought provoking! You did your homework!
thank you I am intelligent, I don't need to do my homework.
Don't get cocky and arrogant! EVERYONE needs to do their homework! A lot of intelligent people are absolutely WRONG!!!
I can be as arrogant as I want to be, my mind, my attitude, my choice. I am too intelligent for homework or research and I am NEVER wrong.
Honour killings only happen to women and women are forced to have abortions to avoid a daughter not a son.
Ah another female who thinks she has any say in men's issues, fuck off you don't know what your talking about, come back to the discussion when you are born with a penis
People are either toxic or not regardless of whether they are masculine or feminine.
are you a broken record? Go to this woman's youtube channel she talks about female infanticide as well.
Some men need a crossbow, other men just want a crossbow. Either way, you should buy your man a crossbow for his birthday because he'll appreciate it.
You want my man to kill me with a crossbow? That is toxic masculinity!
He needs a crossbow, because of your constant nagging.
female infanticide also happens because of patriarchy.
Give that crossbow to your father, brother-in-law and son-in-law= my open challenge.
Don't ask why a man needs a crossbow, that's not something your woman brain can understand.
like your mom, sister, wife and daughter, they are also women.
Yes, and they're all idiots.
Men only have themselves to blame if they act like douchebags. They're not victims of toxic masculinity, they're part of the problem.
Strange you assume that masculinity is dehumanized as if the ideal human is a woman. I admit I didn’t read all 500 lines of your thesis
No one forces men to do anything. There will be people who think other men are pussies, assholes etc., but this has always been the case and has nothing to do with toxic masculinity. It’s just the way people form opinions.
I will speak against female infanticide, honour killings, domestic abuse, forced marriages, acid attacks, rapes and harassment.
Toxic masculinity, stems from sexism towards men from both sexes.
I'm gonna lose my woman card because this is all bullshit to me
i dunno why but i like this idea of making all women slaves to men like it was in the good old days
yeye hate me as much as you want but i like it
