A fetus is not a child, not a person. It has no right to life. It's an unconscious bit of protoplasm. It's not near consciousness until sometime in the 3rd trimester.

So it only becomes human when it pops out its mother's vagina?

      Seriously?

      Babies are born months premature.

So please name the exact point that the protoplasm you speak of becomes human life?

@NoManToo You are invoking the fallacy of the beard (https://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Sorites_paradox). There is no exact point, it's a gradual process. But we know that in the first two trimesters the fetus is nowhere near consciousness. There are other legal questions that are similar. We don't know exactly when someone is too drunk to drive, so we make it illegal to drive with a blood alcohol concentration above 0.08%.

So you are using a subjective alcohol limit as an analogy as to when human life becomes human life?

By scientific definition it is human life through out pregnancy.

      Let's talk facts.

      Then you can argue ethics.

Sure. We should also incentivize it for unmarried couples and for women in danger of becoming single mothers. It gets rid of some unwanted tax sponges, future Criminals, and the genetically defective. I can't imagine a better way to keep a population clean and healthy.

They should have the right to have the choice. They also have to be responsible for it. Taking sex and abortion for granted will just cost you the risks of potentially losing your life and even the money cost for it.

Is the thing a thing with humans rights? If so, let's say you suffer a car accident and now are going through a blood transfusion from your sibling who has deadly allergy to something. Do you have the right to take the substance your sibling is allergic to?

Your "statistics" come from pro-life Christian websites. Also, pro-life people only care about the baby until it exists the vagina. You're probably against welfare programs for children and paying for pre-natal care.

T-CELLS fight off diseases. From the T-CELLS point of view, the baby is a disease a FOREIGN body, which makes abortion... MURDER!!! Of course the fetus fights off the T-cells. I believe I heard that from a 7th Day Adventist. ALL SCIENCE!!! :)

It's a messy subject and way to politicized it many countries especially the US. In my opinion, it's very simple. It's the womans body and therefore she gets to choose what happens to her. It is nobody's business but hers. Anything else is self serving to other individuals or groups.

I don't know where you live but where I'm from, health legislation trumps human rights when it comes to protecting life. In my opinion if your one of those anti masters that feels there rights are more important then preventing g people from dying then I hope you become one of the casualties to save others.

Where I'm from we have the constitution that gives me the right to govern over my own well being:

      Title 18 USC Section 242.

Mostly no. If the fetus is weak and beta then it will result in a miscarriage and it should be discarded. However if the seed of the man was strong then the fetus will be alpha and should be born. A good alpha male fetus should not be aborted, only a weak beta male dying fetus should be discarded, one that has already died and failed to be born.

I think it depends on a the situation. For example if you are a teenage single mother than it will probably be harder for you to support your baby plus you have your whole life ahead of you. So I think abortion should be allowed.

How about should a depression come and there's mass unemployment. At that point it would be harder to support yourself. And at that point, should you be aborted too? Think about that.

Because it isn't so crystal clear for some. Legally, I agree abortion should be legal but I don't think it's right. The fetus has a right to it's own body, it's not a parasite, it's a human being that didn't consent to getting aborted.

I was gonna keep the baby and put it up for adoption, but the doctor told me with my stress level it the baby was not likely going to survive, plus I have severe epilepsy and on medication, the doctor told me I CAN'T deliver or I would not make it.

Why would the new life be ruined up on birth? it could be given up for adoption and raised in a good home. There is currently a 2 to 3 year waiting list for newborns to be adopted.

Domestic adoption. Adopting a baby from the U. S. is typically pricey. For example, parents who contract through an agency may pay between $20,000 and $45,000, according to the Child Welfare Information Gateway from the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.
