I don't think the government should deal with matters of the family if that what you mean. However, I think men, if the sex was consensual, have a responsibility to help care for the child and the pregnant woman. societally, I think the community have a responsibility onto each other. at least to give to charity if possible.

@WrestlingHero01 Hmmmm - Let's do some math. Pregnant lady gets killed by the bad guy (or gal- we have to be unbiased). Bad guy/gal is guilty of TWO - count them one, TWO - homicides. Killing unborn baby is murder- premeditated- first degree. Even the bad guy might get off with 2nd or 3rd degree!
If a pregnant person consents to someone being inside of her and someone kills them, they're guilty of murder. If a pregnant person has someone inside them against her will, that pregnant person just like anyone else facing that situation is entitled to take any action to remove that person from their body.
