My perspective in politics as a 16 year old gay Republican teenager

So im 16 and a boy and gay, I have always been, Many people assume i worship biden just because i love hunky jocks, my beliefs below:

#1 employment and oversee jobs

America should be first, build factories in the U.S and give more jobs and boost the economy and GDP while lowering imports and raising exports

#2 Immigration: We should run background checks and health checks on every single individual that wants to immigrate to the U.S, Mirgrant kids should be allowed education regardless of socioeconomic status and Some financial benefits to lift weights off their chests.

#3 Climate change: I believe we should not close down ANY pipeline or halt oil production, However we should slowly transition to eco-friendly things Over the years, Not forcing it

#4 LGBTQ+ Topics: All LGBT citizens and kids be giving all privileges and benefits as other Americans nothing else, For example "Pride month" Its trivial, U.S veterans should get a month not us, Yes we should have LGBT in movies and tv shows, 5% of the Citzens in the U.S are LGBTQ+ so it makes no sense for every movie to have several gay and trans, That is forcing ideaology and is unnecessary, From a statistics standpoint almost ALL relationships on screen will be straight, Therefore MOST relationships on social platforms/movies should be straight couples, Because its a realistic representation of Americans.

#5 Abortion- If the fetus has a heart beat it should NOT be terminated, With the exception of an unwanted pregnancy s uch as r ape or the mothers health is it risk.

#6 Guns- Guns should be sold to all who wants want except for individuals who have criminal records or a mental health disorder they might cause harm to others or themselves

#7 Military- Increase U.S budget to 850 Billion included will be Increasing payment for troops and widowers and retirees,

#8 Voting: In person voting WITH proof of identity is required to cast your vote, Voting age should be lowered to 16.

#9 federal budget deficit: Taxs should be increased with anyone with a net worth of 250,000$, Billionaires will also be subject to pay more taxs, Funds will be REMOVED from trivial programs such as "Black lives matter, LBGT+,and other programs that waste Billions

#10 Vaccines, Encourage but do not force vaccines, Nor should penalites of any form be applied to those who dont want the vaccine, Minors 15+ Should be given the choice to receive the vaccine 15 or below it is up to the parants/guardian

#11 S ex ed be optional for all minors at 7th grade with the consent of parants/guardians

#12 Rape laws: R aping should be punished much more severely, False accustations of rape should also be equally charged in the court of law with Defamation.

I agree with almost everything you've said.

I'd hesitate to lower the voting age. Most kids at 16 are still learning about their place in the world around them how it affects them. Most are highly under the influence of their teachers and parents as well. While a lot of that carries beyond 18, I also don't believe someone should be able to be drafted and sent to fight for our country and not not have a vote. So I would leave it at 18.

I agree that gun sales to those violent criminal records should not happen.

For the mental health aspect, I agree that new sales shouldn't happen. I fear that on the flip side however, taking away someone's rights will cause them to fear or resist getting the help they need. My dad has a few of grand-dad's rifles. They used to hunt together and the rifles represent a lot of his fond memories with him. I would hate to think that he wouldn't get help early with any problems because there was the possibility that they would be confiscated and lost forever.

Yeah, minus the gay thing that was basically me at your age, because it was easy to understand and seemed kinda edgy to sneer at democrats who only ever seemed to want to treat people with kindness.

But eventually it becomes clear that republicans greatly misrepresent democrats because no one in their right mind would vote for a Republican otherwise - the only goal of republicans is to cut taxes for the rich. Everything else they say is performative.

I'm right leaning and I don't disagree with you however I strongly caution against making the voting age 16. I even think 18 is too low but I understand why they make it that way.

I think the optimal age is 25 because by then most people already have their first full time job to make a living so they have some semblance of how the world works and hopefully make smarter voting decisions.

You basically make common sense points, which is rare for 16yo.

The fact that the only camp that closely resembles you is the republican camp is scary. Worst, it's not even MSM republican, just populist republican.

Also, about 11, there's no need for sex education, at all. Just teach basic biology and law. "But STDS and unwanted pregnancies!" just teach basic biology, commutable diseases and pregnancy are basic biology.

Kids don't need lessons on how sex works, the ones can't figure it out just have a big problem in separating fantasy from reality and with personal responsibility, and you can't teach those things. Well, you can teach those things, just not in sex ed, but in juridical sciences. Teaching that every law that can't be enforced is functionally null is a great way to teach realism.

"If anyone is caught thinking about their crushes in this class, they will lose a minute of recess for every time they are caught!" That's a good way to teach the pointlessness of unenforceable laws, which teaches the difference between wishful thinking and reality.

As a right-leaning moderate and a straight white male American, I agree with almost everything here. Really, the only thing I would disagree with is lowering the voting age. You are clearly a smart guy and wise beyond your years. Unfortunately, that is not true of many/most 16 year olds.
