Why Guns aren't the issue!

You know lately, since the whole agenda pushers took over there has been a sky rocket in gun related crime, well with crime in general but especially gun related crimes, I've seen so many people comment on how if we had more gun control laws in place, and if everyone gave up their guns and did away with the constitution we'd be happier.

Criminals Don’t Obey Gun Control Laws!! Simple
Criminals, by definition, do not obey the law. If they did well we wouldn't have this problem.
Criminals typically get guns through means that are questionable to begin with.
I mean come on people!!

Here's a good rule of thumb.

I have several issues with that of course. Number one being the reason that our founding fathers wrote a constitution in the first place. If you will remember your days in school learning history you'll remember that in Europe there was complete tyranny and people could not worship or come and go as they pleased and so they ran away to avoid persecution. There was no constitution that could advocate for them. And so they had to flee.

In today's day and age or current leadership has demonstrated that they can and will do whatever they see fit to do whether we agree or not. Our gun laws aren't to protect us from criminals although that is and added bonus. It is to protect us from our dishonest government because you cannot and should not trust them! Doing away with guns will leave us helpless and at their mercy. They have proven time and time again that they do not care about us. They help every other country, they even send troops out to help sometimes. But their own people they leave to murdered and slaughtered. All for the sake of what?

Benjamin Franklin said ''There is no kind of dishonesty into which otherwise good people more easily and frequently fall than that of defrauding the government.'' We must defend our rights! Criminals were never the problem. There are laws that say stealing is a crime yet we still have thieves. Rape is wrong yet there are rapist. Drugs are illegal yet people buy, sell and use drugs all the time. Laws never stopped a criminal before and they definitely won't stop them now.

Interesting take. And it would be someone true if not for some slight oversight on your part. I would say over half the mass shootings we have had here in America are from people that have purchased guns legally in this country. The latest big one in Texas, the gunman brought his gun as soon as he turned 18. Purchased legally and countless others either got it legally or were given to them by their parents. So that throws a massive hole in that argument. Secondly, you do know the government who people so want to throw millions more dollars behind military and law enforcement still way outgun whatever pitiful little citizen that may have 100-AR. They have more guns, more bombs, more man power, more tactical experience more resources. So this old played out bullshit of “protecting ourselves from a tyrannical government…” means nothing. They can still hunt you down and take you out with all the guns in the world. Even if you got like 100 people to pick up arms, they wouldn’t need to life as much as a finger to wipe you out.. so yeah, the little measly rifles they have won’t work.


Finally, the founding fathers probably would have amended the constitution based on the information they would see now. Yes, they wrote that to protect themselves from the British. Who had muskets, and such. Now, is gun control the answer, I don't know. People say focus more on mental health. But that’s seems to not be working. So I don’t have an answer to the problem. But I know letting people feel free to buy more guns and what not is not the answer.

Don't forget though that if there was ever a need to fight the government that the military people aren't all going to just stay there and kill American citizens, at least half the military if not more would join the cause to fight against it... taking equipment with them. Commanders and such, entire units and so forth.

The idea that the entire military will stay 100% intact while a few citizens try to over throw it, is incorrect... cause if things get to that point, its going to be a good chunk of the military with regular citizens doing hit and run harassment tactics... taking pop shots, then run and hide... terrorist tactics for lack of a better term.

Just imagine for a moment that Trump had made himself dictator like Liberals said he would, there is zero chance that 100% of the military would of followed him.

The whole argument that black-market is uncontrollable is stupid, sorry because no country that calls itself a democracy has control over the black-market on its territory and many of them still have less shooting than the US has.
I don´t think it´s solely an issue of guns, it´s rather an issue of safety and the feeling of safety because some people need guns to feel safe and I acknowledge that but on the other hand it seems to me as a foreigner that as long as one isn´t currently in jail you can buy a gun legally so there is no need to use the black-market to get a weapon if you can get the same weapon legally without issues.
Let´s be real the time is over that you could defend yourself against the government. Because the government could turn off anything pretty soon like elictricity/water/communication/your bank accounts without you being able to do anything against that. They don´t need to use the military on their people because that way they can hurt you even worse than just killing you.
For me the biggest problem is rather an agressive mentality of us and against them when supporters of Democrats and Republicans like there is no common ground anymore that both sides stick to. Both sides equally spend a good amount of time insulting and accusing one another that just lead to even more break offs in the society and sooner or later US turns into "U"S because unity is just theoretical possible.
Plus maybe it also could be a mixture out of a mental health issue and an issue of hope or perspective for young male generation in general hence most of serial killers are male and under 25.

I agree with what you said above except for one thing. For the bulk of the past 65 years, criminals ARE the government!! The only times they HAVEN'T been in charge, that I know of, is during the Kennedy, Reagan and Trump years and possibly the Carter and Eisenhower years. And Reagan had daddy Bush as VP so, that kinda stained his 8 years but, he didn't take on Bush by choice! Bush forced him into it! Otherwise, we've had 18 to 26 non-tyrannical years in that spate of time. That's not even 50%!!

Doesn't take a genius to work out that if a crazed lunatic that wants to make the world pay can't get an AR15 with 30-100 round magazines that shoots 5.56 and they have on their person 30-600 rounds of ammunition that there's the possibility of 600 or more deaths. The US is in the top ten with almost the third world countries for murder rates. The majority of murder in the US is committed by a firearm.

Yes but your wrong. Try committing a mass shooting if you can easily get an AR15 with multiple 30 round magazines, it why most isis terror attacks in Europe had such few casualties because they had to rely on bladed weapons instead of being able to buy semi automatic assault rifles. If you try to commit mass murder with a bladed weapon you may just be able kill three and wound multiple others but in America any butthurt guy who wants to make the world pay can get access to military grade weapon and the casualty rate is limited only by the amount of ammunition he has.

It's already illegal to kill people. Laws and cowards not taking action don't stop a killer. The only thing that stops a killer is a bullet or the fear of death. What happens when hyenas try to kill a lion cub? The lions are vigilant and usually kill the hyena before that can happen.
