Bailed out corporations, raised taxes on the middle class, lost Supreme Court seats, can't get their house in order, lost contact with the true core of their party by pandering social injustice types left and right while they do nothing of value to change anything, can't protect voting rights, can't protect the vast major of Americans from Christian Right. Dems are limp dick whinnies and Biden is at the top of the list.
How old are you remember a time when we had jobs in the is country that offered real pensions plans with life long retirement benefits. Well Reagan crushed the Unions and destroyed collective bargaining through the courts... and what did the Dems the party of the working class do to protect or bring the unions back? Nothing, nothing at all. The Unions had become so corrupt, selling off peoples pensions and claiming bankruptcy... and Dems did nothing to regulate the Unions or protect workers rights, and haven't lifted a finger to bring them back in over 40 years. By time the Republicans crushed the Unions, most people were glad to see them go... but who really lost in that... the working class did and the limp dick Dems did nothing about it. The people lost and corporation won again.
Trumps tax bill was disaster for the working class... I lost 4 to 5 major deductions on my taxes under Trump. Capped Mortgage Interest deductions , relocation allowances are taxed now, child support and alimony is no longer deductible, and corporations and the wealthy are not paying taxes... its to the point that people like Warren Buffett and Jeff Bezos openly joke about how they don't pay taxes and how its seriously a joke. These corporations pay more taxes in foreign countries then they do here at home. And the Dems don't even talk about it... they just give use empty promises while they pander to LGBTQ and minorities while doing nothing.
Look these January 6th hearings, I mean we had an American president that opening instigated a riot... and Dems start off the this whole process by saying they are not seeking criminal charges... so it just media circus for no purpose. Its fucking joke just like the Russian Conspiracy bullshit.
So to your question, don't blame Republicans for doing exactly what they always said they would do and winning, because Dems are the ones that are unwilling to do anything about it. are unconstitutional on fundamental grounds.
First, the US Postal Service is a federal service and it cannot selectively permit/refuse mail between states. In other words, the USPS cannot enforce such a law: contraception is mailed from NY to CA is allowed, but contraception mailed from NY to Missouri is not. Also, the USPS does not open packages; they can ask you what is in it, but that's it. Finally, private shipping services wouldn't be affected. Congress DOES have the power to regulate interstate commerce, but it cannot partition its laws so if affects people in one state one way and another state another way. That's a violation of the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment and the due process clauses of the 5th and 14th Amendments.
Second, "freedom of movement" within the US is a fundamental right for citizens who are not ex-convicts. Numerous Supreme Court cases assert this and current Associate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh agreed as much.
So is outlawing abortion but they still managed to do it. All they would have to do is make it illegal for business or individuals to mail contraception across state lines, it's not the USPS's job to enforce it, they just have to report it if they find it.
@Subarugirl To make it illegal to mail contraceptives across state lines is a FEDERAL law, not state law. No state can create a law regarding that because that is a violation of Commerce Clause and the Supremacy Clause.

@Subarugirl Yes, but the Federal Government would pass such a law and, even if it did, it would be challenged in Federal court. This is because "the contraceptive industry" - an industry not specifically discussed in the US Constitution - would become a "discriminated class". When that happens, the government immediately is put on the defensive to show why they need to create the discriminated class and why it is in the country's or Federal Government's best interests to do so and create the law.
This is actually a very important concept - it's how Obergefell v Hodges struck down same-sex marriage bans. In short, people wishing to be in same-sex marriages, but were banned from doing so, were a discriminated class. In court, no state or the Federal Government (which did not challenge) could justify that marriage should only be between opposite-sex partners. Thus, those laws were struck down.
Both the Federal Government and the states can't justify discriminating against the contraceptive industry. If you don't conceive, you're not going to have an abortion and abortion becomes a non-issue.

Crossing State lines for a good or service is interstate commerce which Congress can regulate under Article 1 section 8 Clause 3.

But Dems will probally lose the senate and by the time they ever get it back a decade of anti abortion legislation will have buried it. This is just another example of losing Dems have done over decades... so I have lost faith in them. The Dems talk big, but do nothing. They do a lot of losing, and empty promise making.

No. States' Rights works both ways. More liberal states will now be able to offer unfettered late-term and third trimester abortions, which is equally alarming. No normal reasonable logical person, in a normal non-emergency situation, needs into the third trimester to make a decision.
I'm legally pro-choice. If the Democrats in the House and Senate and the President wanted to pass a national pro-choice law (an actual law, not an executive order or Supreme Court decision), they could've put it together already and it'd be signed into law. They could've also done it in 2009 or 2010 when they also had control of the House, Senate, and Presidency. However far-left liberals are never satisfied. Just about every country in Europe has pro-choice laws in place. Their decision demarcation is set at 14 weeks (with all of the necessary emergency, legal, criminal, and medical exceptions). We could easily have a similar nationwide law here, but that's not enough for far-left liberals. They're not pro-choice. They're pro-abortion. There's a difference.
So now we have states that will do whatever they can to pass unreasonable restrictions on making a choice, and states that will allow third trimester abortions as a form of birth control. You reap what you sow.
