The House Republicans are not GIVING THEMSELVES a greedy pay raise... considering:
firstly the House can't decide its salary alone. it needs senate. so House can't give "themselves." also the idea came from a DEMOCRAT. pic.

also Members of Congress would get a LONG -delayed cost-of-living adjustment under legislation proposed by Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D-Colo. if that is bad blame dnc? but that does not serve the agenda.

also it is long overdue since 2009. pic. they have not gotten cost-of-living adjustment in longer than a decade.

Also, p. biden has bad priorities undoing trump benefits and other "wrong policy" as even c.n.n. wrote. so instead of SPENDING on bad stuff, which they are justified to oppose, better to fix the injustice long overdue.

i see the emotional "hurt" in recent propaganda, rnc blocks "giving us money" but who is us? if not poor don't expect charity and if poor only from organizations not directly from government anyway.

Or we could just not have them go to D. C. and work remotely. Ideally then their states should pay their salary if any at all after all said States are primarily responsible for the cost of living.

This is the 21st century we really have no compelling need for congress to leave their districts & states and meet anywhere, except on rare occasions and in small groups.

Why should we be paying D. C. Cost of living when simply living in that overpriced cese pool undermines their ability to represent their very different district and States?

Congress should disperse, that will make it a lot harder for lobbyist to meet with, wine &dine, and bribe them all. while also making them far more in touch with the people they are actually suppose to represent by remaining among them.
