Why do guys get mad when girls cry?

I've realized every time I cry in front of a boy they get mad or annoyed. So I try to keep it all in when I'm around a guy but when I can't they just seem upset and irritated like they don't even care they just want you to shut up. Does anybody know why?

Well I think it kinda depends on why you're crying, but generally I think its cause most guys hang around other guys and they generally don't cry as like a code of manliness or whatever (its stupid) so crying basically, for one reason or another, annoys them.

for example, if its because of a movie, a lot of guys get annoyed because they may not find any reason to cry, or maybe because they expect you to be like tehm and hold it in. but I douubt they would get annoyed if you like broke yoru leg and was crying.

I think it probably has something to do with guy's unwritten code or whatever that crying's bad and is annoying.

Personally, I think its quite insensitive of any man to get irritated when a girl cries. or anybody cries. Crying is so natural... (I cry a lot lol) I even cry after I hear a beautiful song... no shame!

My boyfriend gets extremely mad when I cry , he doesn't ever comfort me he just gets super posses off and even yells at me. I figure it's because I usually only cry in front of him from lack of attention, because he says he loves me but never shows it, never cuddles me or hugs me or anything, and that is all stuff that I really need so I end up breaking down. He has said once that it might bother him so much because he has a little sister and her crying must have really bothered him too. I just figured that someone who loves you should want to hold you and cuddle with you and that if your literally crying your heart out because you feel unloved that they would want to fix that, not make you feel even worse by yelling at you for having feelings.

I think it depends on why you're crying. If it's for something like a movie or something that there is no reason to cry then they get mad. If it's for something serious I don't think they would usually get mad. They might get mad if it's serious, but maybe that's because they feel bad that you're crying and they can't figure out a way to make you feel better so they're mad at themselves or at you for making them feel bad.

The only time any guy I know gets mad about it is if your just a cry baby and cry about every little thing out there.

A lot of guys I know its the total opposite, if they even suspect that I'm upset they'll do everything in their power to find out what the cause is and fit it.
