Is it ok for guys to take selfies?

It seems like girls taking selfies and posting them online is totally normal, but whenever a guy takes a selfie and posts it he gets labeled as a douche. Are certain kinds of selfies more douchey than others (mirror selfies, car selfies, etc.)?

i dont think anyone should be taking selfies its moronic and narcissistic however no one seems to tell girls when they're making an ass out of themselves so i think its less about it being not ok for guys and more about it being not ok for anyone but people just let it slide when girls do it

y wouldn't it be lol? iv never thought of a guy as douchey for taking a selfie UNLESSS he's ALWAYS topless or putting these stupid ass captions by some rapper under his pics and actin like a thug.

it's definitely okay for guys to take selfies, i don't even know whats wrong with that? i suggest you take as many selfies as you want cause nothing is wrong with it. have a nice day :)

Yes it's ok, with me. I don't see anything wrong with a guy taking a selfie let alone a girl taking one. It's not doing anyone any harm.

Yes keep them in an album only you can see and print them out at your local pharmacy and make a collage, that'd be cool. You're also limited to one picture attempt, if it looks bad you have to walk 5 feet away then wait 30 seconds and you can try to take a better one.

Guys are allowed to take selfies as much as women take selfies and posting them online. Guys shouldn't be classified as a douche if they post selfies of themselves.

No. I took a selfie once and a SWAT team busted down my door. It's actually illegal for men to take selfies. The bill was passed secretly while we were focused on Flight MH370.
