WOMEN IS WAY MORE SHALLOW.

MY GUY FRIENDS TELL ME ALL THE TIME THEY DONT MIND EATING MCDICKS OR DRIVING THIS AND THAT BUT ITS FOR THEIR GF'S OR WIVES THEY PURCHASE LUXURY THINGS.

GENERALLY, PERSONALITIES OR WOMEN OR WHAT THEY DESIRE OR FEEL ENTITLED TO DEPENDS GREATLY ON THEIR ATTRACTION LEVEL. UNATTRACTIVE WOMEN ARE JUST NATURALLY LESS SHALLOW AS WAY TO PROMOTE THEIR INNER BEUTY (ITS WHAT THEY GOT) AND MORE GORGEOUS WOMEN WANT HOW THEYVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED.

BUT WOMEN MARRY AND DATE FOR RESOURCES OR WITH THOSE WHO SEEMS TO HAVE POTENTIAL. SO HOW ARE THESE WOMEN SAYING MEN ARE SHALLOW? BECAUSE WE LIKE BOOBS AND ASS? WOMEN OBJECTIFY MEN ALL THE TIME AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING.

WOMEN ARE SHALLOW GENERALLY. WHY DO YOU THINK MEN FEEL THEY NEED MONEY TO EVEN HAVE A GF?

It's quite equal.

It's true that men look for a nice face, body etc. But it's also true that women pay very much attention to the style, how men dress, etc that men generally don't care about.

Is it less shallow to think a man is hot because he is in a uniform than thinking a woman is hot because she has an amazing body? I think not.

You also have to understand that what sparks sexual attraction is not the same that sparks the willingness to be in a loving relationship. Even if it might not require much more than a big butt to spark sexual attraction from a man it takes more than that for the man to want a relationship with that woman.

When it comes to "looks" girls tend to be more forgiving than men. .. The reason is, because men are more visual than we are. .. Men can fall head over heels for a girl with a fantastic body, while we usually need more than just appearance to be slaving over any man in general. ( that's not to say alllll men and all women are like this, but for the most part, it is this way, thus men are more shallow).. Even if most disagree..

And I'd like to add that most men on this site are here for a reason... And will likely disagree, because most here will settle for just about anyone, because as it is, they have a hard time finding a partner,,, (and again that's not to say allll men on here, but for the majority, this applies) which is why most "here" will disagree.

Men are shallow when it comes to sex, but they are usually really good about picking out relationship partners from my observation.
Women get blinded by hormones and charm for the most part. I think that after a while we LEARN how to pick partners from our past relationship experiences, but I think women are usually a little more shallow because of our baby making hormones.
This is obviously a generalization and doesn't apply to EVERYONE. Everyone is different, this is just my opinion for the majority.

Men are visual. We know this. And honestly, if you think women are more superficial, take two sample groups of 15-17 year olds, put straight males in one room, straight females in the other. Now show each group pictures of two people, one average, one attractive. Include a description of both of the pictured kids next to it, and I can almost assure you that the guys would pick the hot girl, despite her personality. The girls would for the most part pick the better personality.

Men because generally we care more about how women looks, that is one of the reason why women care more about they looks. It's actually an logical thing to prefer an women with an great body, and men are known for being more logical as well. Anyway men like me care about personality as well, that's why I prefer to not date sluts, and of course I am not talking about gold diggers who are actually far more "shallow" then men, because they care only about money, and artificial things are not even a real part of what man is, unlike the body, that is an part of man or women, for better and worse. :)

Women, definitely. There's a reason why in HS the jocks get all the girls, and the intelligent guys with great grades get nothing. There's a reason why when they're out of HS they choose a guy with more money than one with less.
They may not just base their choice on looks, but on money and/or status. From Middle School till they hit 30, most women will choose the one with higher status and money.

Anyways, every gender has its shallow people. We all would want someone we're attracted to in the first place, so having certain preferences does not mean you're shallow

What does this even mean?

Men pick on looks, sexual fidelity and enthusiasm and 'sweetness' in a long term.

Women pick on status, income, power, sexual prowess and ability to protect.

I don't consider either of those inherently more noble than the other. Attraction is ruthlessly pragmatic. Most of us try to pick someone who is both attractive, and a decent person.

I am not too fond of generalizations, but I believe that women are far more likely to be materialistic and just tend to care WAY too much about height (obviously with some exceptions).

By nature I don't think any gender is more shallow. Currently in most western countries I would have to say though that women are more shallow, as a lot of them seem to be incredible entitled and spoiled by the entirety of society.

I would say it depends on the situation, so I would say equal. I think men are shallow more often but when women are shallow they are way more shallow. So I think it equals out.
