So people who did bad shit to others in the past both within dating/relationship and outside of it. For example cheating, lying, bullying others, using people, starting nasty rumors about someone they didn't like etc.

Do you think that their kids hating them is in some way universal karma?

Clearer idea. Think about all the bad shit someone does before settling down. Every action we take is towards reproduction. Now imagine you did some bad shit to other people to get to that goal. Would the universe punish you by making the kids you wanted so badly hate you?

I don't know. Not to say people who are jerks to others without reason shouldn't have it thrown back into their face, but, having your kid hate you sounds like harsh karma. But at the same time, I've heard guys who did girls dirty in relationships will have daughters as karma, but I don't really believe in that either.

my mom used to threaten my troublesome older brother with that "the way u treat me will be the way your children treat u" struck fear into his teenage heart. till he realized that if she got a bad kid then how did she treat *her* parents to deserve that? lmfaoo
