Most men, at least from my experience are superficial. They don't seem to care if someone is fake or not as long as they are cute. Look at Kylie Jenner. She is the epitome of fake. My friend's husband is a plastic surgeon and we have discussed the ever infamous Kardashians. Kylie is a perfect example of eyebrow implants, botox, lip fillers, cheekbone fillers, chin reshaping, butt fillers. She is a copy of her sister Kim now. He can clearly see the differences because he constantly has to tell his patients what they can and cannot look like when they want to look like her. They don't realize how much work she has done. Do guys care that she is fake? Nope.
However, on the other hand you have stories where a man marries a woman and wonders why their child looks a certain way only to find out that the woman he married wasn't born looking that way.
I'll tell you though it's how these girls sell themselves. Even the ones with surgery aren't all that beautiful but they know what to wear and how to carry themselves. But you don't want a superficial guy anyway. So if he likes that stuff you know that he's not the one for you ;)

insecurity.
the media portraits what beauty is in the physical sense.
people buy into it due to their own insecurity.
if you are happy with your own self image. if you are confident about your outlook in life, there will be less to worry about.
i am speaking in general terms.
I don't think society is all about them per se, lol. You just see the adverts because they're commodities to be bought and sold. You can't sell someone somethig they already have!
Because they're hot?
Why are you against that?
Would you tell a breast cancer patient with a mastectomy that got implants that she's no longer beautiful?
Because the media and corporations put it in your face everyday. They prey on your insecurities. If you look at plastic surgery there, I'd hate to tell you how profitable that industry alone is. People need to be more content with themselves and embrace their imperfections.
Get away of magazines and TV, and interact with men in real life and you'll realize how little we like fake stuff.

The world is not 'about fake beauty'.
The world, especially the world of women but to a lesser extent the world for men, is about being physically attractive. Fake beauty exists because it serves as a substitute for natural beauty, and beauty is so desired.Because that's what women have always been about...
Since Egyptian times, makeup has been used to look more attractive.
Wait, lemme stop you before you try and tell me makeup is 'real' beauty, or that it's fake beauty is patriarchy, because SFG don't care.I thought it was about loving all bodies for what they are, even the massive, massive ones. Unless, you know, you don't want a pee-pee, then society's all 'bout that fake body. We must frequent different circles.

I will most readily point at porn and obsession with celebrities.
What's you problem? Why do you feel like you are better than "fake" people? If someone is not confident or downright ashamed of themselves, then should they not be allowed to fix it without facing hate from people like you?
I'm not sure what you're talking about or why it would disturbs you.
Women have the option of plastic surgery because it is available, and you see fake boobs because some women some choose to buy.
I wouldn't say that society revolves around breast augmentation or collagen injections though, and if you say that I would think your worldview is jaded by an oddly limited scope. Maybe if you broadened your interests and hobbies it would not feel as if "society all about fake beauty".its actually sad ur not pretty if you don't wear makeup if you don't have 12489 instagram followers no one cares likes are so important nobody knows who's truly their selfs
Magazines, women's fashion channels, reality shows, and drama/gossip shows are designed for women and marketing to women. We think that shit is ridiculous...
I think that's thw image they're trying to sell. In reality, most people still like au naturelle better.
Because society created cancerous "invisible" laws. I could go on, but I'm not about to write a book on the subject.
Kylie Jenner doesn't represent society's beauty standards...
I don't let all that affect me. I'm proud of being real. Some are insecure, for others its business, who cares. Focus on better things in life worth your time
its not beautiful to me, i think industries try to make us think it is beauty to make some money. like they try to capitalize on peoples insecurities and its disgusting.
women have always used beauty to catch bread winner.
and men are driven by sexand yet accuse them to do plastic surgery... Or tell natural they're ugly and need to change their nose... That's all so stupid
Its not in this world.. Beauty varies culture to culture, just so happens ur country likes fake shit.
It's not attractive but it gets people's attention.
U mean why society like hot chicks?
Actually, all that is a big turn off to me.
Ask the men that expect that
