Said she got shot in the head but the bullet was lodged in her shoulder. What?
Anyway she sounds amazing! She can be the Ghandi that brings the Muslims out of the dark ages. Maybe then all the terrorists will either die out or change there minds and be good people.
Grand only won because we got rid of Churchill, Churchill would've shot peaceful protesters, the Taiwan aren't limp waisted Guardian reading famous like that bloke who replaced Churchill, I wasn't born then and I failed my history exam, but, I know he was a pacifist and he gave our empire away, real men fight to the death, the only way to stop the Taiwan is to nuke Mecca.
She is an amazing woman, and I think she realized how she can make a difference. This is why we don't see her in the media as much lately. She's trying to become part of the work force, so she can change the world on the inside, going beyond motivational speeches.
Anyone who eats bullets for what they believe gets my vote. Her arguments have to come from a dissenting woman, might as well be her. She is quite lucky now. You just have to pray for all the poor girls stuck living under the rule of these arsewholes.
Other... I have no idea who she is. Basically she's not rated enough for me to know. What, is she some political representative... or some bollywood dancer actor?
Fucking hell. People trying to kill her for educating kids... or female kids. Religion is just religion, but something is seriously wrong with certain members of the Muslim religion. How can a person come to hate the opposite sex so much? I know of no MGTOW that would be that hateful.
Again... we don't have a problem with buddhists and terrorist attacks. We need to reform this religion.
I say yes, because there are hundreds and thousands of girls in this world that face what she is facing. Why was she picked to the be frontrunner of this and not for instance an African girl?
She became popular after surviving being shot in the head by a Taliban gunman when she was 15... I don't think he story catching attention is about anything more than people were horrified by the act but awed that she continued to speak out (plus she had already been speaking on the issue for a couple years.. so, she was not totally unknown) But I agree with you that we should promote the story of more rebel young girls ( African girls included), girls that stand up (and sometimes don't get to live after being attacked) Still though, it's good her story did get attention because now even more people support her cause.
Education's over rated. You do education, you think you're going to get a well paid job then some bustard invents a machine that can do the job without humans, so you study for a different job, but as soon as you qualifie someone else invents another machine, we already have all the inventions we need, we should close all universities and ban new inventions before robots take over the world.
I'm gonna say yes because people in the world look for certain types of people to be their flagpole. Their centerpiece. It has less to do with what they actually did and more to do with how they look on camera. Then they shove the person in everyone's face, everywhere and say they're the greatest thing in the world. It's Kardashian syndrome all over again.
Massacre, but I just can not take relax that female to be a leader. Although they spread some idealism but I still hope that they can take responsibility by themselves.
She said she will die and won't leave Pakistan. But she is in England now. There are a lot of girls and women lived worst than her. Because her Dad was some commender in Pakistan. Some political things made her get famous for no reason. Plus these people are not safe at all.
@Synttacks I understand what you mean, but in that sense all awards more or less are like that. Some people who deserved it did not get it, and some people who are not qualified enough still get it... it happens. But Malala, she definitely deserved hers.
Ali she did was stop a bullet with her head and not die, the only person who deserves a reward is the doctor who dug the bullet out of her brain without killing her.
@Anon-ymous1 It's Latin, I hate people who go to university and learn Latin, you think you're better than me just because you got a degree in Latin and I didn't. You should learn something useful like French or German, then you could be an interpreter, the last thing this world needs is another pointless intellectual doing history and archeology, what use is Tutankamun's stupid gold mask? You can't eat gold, there are too many people doing useless shit like history, we don't need poshos speaking Latin.
Two, "ad hominem" is Latin, yes, but it is also a phrase very commonly used in English and it is a synonym for "straw-man argument." As in, rather than debate someone's argument or viewpoint (in this case, Malala's), you attack something else about their personage that has nothing to do with their argument or debate. It is, sadly, very common for people to do, and it basically means you have nothing of substance to say. It's like saying MLK's message of racial unity is bad, because he slept out on his wife once or twice. Um... what? That makes no sense.
Ofcourse not. She fights a good fight for a common good, despite all she qent through. She is a rolemodel. Not just for women, for everyone who has his/her rights denied.

I meant Taiwan, not Taiwan, bloody spell checker.

What's her deal?

Malala Yousafzai. How can people have never heard of her? Uneducated people.
How is a woman who fights for girls right to education overrated?

Probably. She's built up as an idol by the same people blowing the shit out of her country. Who won the prize before her?
Maybe Nobel is overrated. If reduce the honor that she can avoid danger
You know that leader in Myanmar now...
What about him?
Massacre, but I just can not take relax that female to be a leader.
Although they spread some idealism but I still hope that they can take responsibility by themselves.
of course Nobel seem to be a fashion now.
No. Her 15 mins of fame would have long been over if she didn't have charm, brain and heart. But her father is the true hero in my mind.
i don't agree with that. She had to show a lot more courage than most of us will ever have to, and overcame much more than almost anyone.
If anything, she's underrated.
She said she will die and won't leave Pakistan. But she is in England now. There are a lot of girls and women lived worst than her. Because her Dad was some commender in Pakistan. Some political things made her get famous for no reason. Plus these people are not safe at all.
She fought for women's right I have her book but never read it yet. she's a miracle.
She is as compared to other achievers of Nobel peace awardee in the past.
How can she be overrated? She's telling the truth, and all she had to do to get noticed was to get shot in the head as a teenager.
She deserves more fame. Nobel Prize at the age of 17 is not a matter of joke.
Nobel prizes are sometimes a joke.
@Synttacks True, Obama's was. In retrospect

... You're kidding right?
@Anon-ymous1 I could g
She got a million pounds from the Nobe
Stupid computer froze. SHE G
She got a million pounds from the Nobel Prize people, I bet she hasn't shared it with the doctor who saved her life, I wish I had a million quid.
What are you talking about? Do you know what an ad hominem is? What does Nobel Prize money have to do with her messages of peace and education?
@Anon-ymous1 It's Latin, I hate people who go to university and learn Latin, you think you're better than me just because you got a degree in Latin and I didn't. ... You didn't answer my question, for one.

Next Pakistani prime minister adored by UK. What else any country need.
