Well, I am black and I don't think people hate balck women but society has made it seemnas if black women are ugly when tbh black women are some of the prettiest women I've seen and im not saying that bc im black.
I think that everyone wants to be black but nobody really wants to be black, as in going through the struggle of being black.

Everyone complains andbsays that black women want to be like white women but at one point, black women were brainwashed to think that they were ugly and if they didn't look white then they aren't acceptable. So how can people get made at a black girl for perming her hair? Or bleaching her skin? When we are in a society that makes a little black girl that ita better to have light skin and straight hair

But yet, nobody wants to mention how white people like taking from black culture. Everyone wants to bring up black girls bleaching their skin buy not white girls litterally going through a process to get dark skin to look black or like a mixed black girl. Why would a white woman that pretty much is the beauty standard want to do that?

I am repping for black women but I would have to disagree with u on some points about white women darkening their skin to look black or mixed is not a thing. Less than 1% of white women are doing that and when they do its temporary or for photo shots not a lifetime look.
They steal from black culture and we are the first to cry cultural appropriation eg Kendall Jenners photo shoot with an afro. Yet people with natural straight are not screaming cultural application.
Yes a lot of brainwashing was done on both black men and women. We already know this and all I see on the internet is both gender hating on each other and refusing to take responsibility for the present day fuckery in the community.
There are almost no conversations on how to unlearn the brainwashing. How can we raise boys and girls that grow FULLY into their blackness and personhood.

I feel ashamed to know that a lot of our women you will never see how their natural hair looks like and almost all of them have never had ur hair natural for more than 2months. We are the only race with a natural hair movement. Natural hair is suppose to be default not a trend or something to try. Again, u can not love a something (self) that u don't know.

I conpletely understand what u are saying. Society has made black people hate themselves. But for the last few years I've seen many black girls begin to except themselves and their hair and features. I am actually happy about this. I went natural about 1 1/2 years ago and im still growing my hair out but I will never go back to perm because I love my natural hair!
I think black people are so beautiful and we have to learn to expect ourselves and love ourselves because our greatest enemy is us.
