It's just a matter of reality that far more guys want to go into nightclubs than girls. So it makes sense to regulate to "demographics" of your guests. If there are 400 guys and 15 girls in a nightclub, it's not fun for anyone, neither the men nor the women.

No. Women aren't equal to men. They have significantly more social value. i. e. "Women and children first." We still hold to that social law. If there is a hostage situation, "Well at least let the women and children go." Women are still ranked higher than men and always have been.
The difference there has been that men have had the responsibility to protect and provide for women, throughout history. And for that, they have had a lot more societal control. But, something a lot of people try to ignore or deny is that women have had 0 power since the dawn of human history. But women have just as much power as men, if not more.
More, in order for something to qualify as a "double standard" you have to start with the same type of person. Women are not men. So, how are we supposed to have the same expectations for men as we do for women? Or for women as we do men?

I haven't forgotten about that. Do you know what human civilization was like for 100,000 years? It was kill or be killed. Life was brutal and hard. And women were the foundation to our species surviving. That meant, men were responsible for literally everything except for childrearing and nurturing. For 100,000 years and brutal fighting and hunting and building society. The Industrial Revolution flipped nature on its head. Are you really surprised that society wanted to keep men as the responsible ones, and continue that 100,000 year old tradition? That was the state of things since forever. Males provide/protect; females raise kids. So of course it took some time to change.
Women were considered to be much more valuable than men, even back then; but, not as capable. The restrictions placed on women were an attempt to enforce those natural gender roles, an extension of *protection* of both women and children. A woman's job for 100,000 years was raising children.

I think there's double standards that affect both genders, but I can't only really think of two RN, though there are more, I'm sure, that affect both e. g.
Women can hit men, but it's unacceptable for men to hit back.

I'm talking about in general, like if something happens in public, like a situation where you have to defend yourself. I don't think it's okay to use violence because you disagree with someone's view or your SO disobey's you or even cheats on you - this goes for both genders.
If a woman has to defend herself it would be fine for her to use violence. N if your partner cheats and they grab you so you don’t go away like a lot of guys do then it is fine to use violence to make them let go of you.
Of course it's okay for people to use violence to defend themselves, not just women, but men too. Equality is a slogan. It's not real. To make equality real we should learn about our differences first and then see how they compliment each other. Then equality should be reached locally as in between two people in a couple first and then spread from there. No laws can make true equality.
I think both sexes have certain advantages that mostly cancel out. Men don't get sideways looks for being ambitious and generally get more leeway at being cold jerks. Women get much more sympathy for their problems and are socially shielded from threats that men have to face all the time.
