In my opinion public nudity is absolutely unacceptable, people who attempt to be nude in public should be fined for the first 3 times, after that punishment must come.

Public nudity itself isn't wrong, but since it's unhygienic and may spread diseases, it may be problematic. If a naked person sits on a bus seat, then the butt bacteria may be smeared on it and the next person who are going to sit there may get some of the bacteria in them. If you've small cuts etc. you may get infection from previous naked butts. Not everyone are good in wiping their ass. It may make a new health crisis. Clothes protects us from some injuries and infections in addition to keep us warm.

Well, most people are products of their environment, so different people will have different opinions about this.

In the countries I've lived, there's a distinction between people who are sunbathing topless or nude on a beach vs people who go about walking naked in shopping malls and next to schools. The distinction being people will generally turn a blind eye to the former as long as you're not harassing anyone and minding your own business while if you do the latter, you'll have law enforcement on your ass (literally) before you can say "I'm naked and I'm lovin' it!"

Also, depending on country, sometimes going into the sauna or hot spring, nudity is mandatory. But those are appropriate places for nudity in the countries that have them.

Also public nudity is generally allowed, within specific locations, when there are such events like World Naked Bike Ride, which, if I'm not mistaken, is a yearly global event. Well, a yearly even at least in countries where public nudity is allowed under certain, specific circumstances.

I am happy to say that God has not yet smote countries which adopt such a policy with public nudity, nor have these countries self-destructed due to what some may perceive as immorality.

I'm a firm believe in expanding individual liberties. I'm also a nudist. I believe the choice of what to wear or not wear should be left to the individual. I also believe that given the choice, you won't see widespread public nudity. "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" rules will still be in place for most private establishments, as will dress codes for schools, places of employment, etc.

My one major question is this...are we talking, you walk into a grocery store, and there is a man/woman standing there naked, or are we talking, they are on a nude beach because I really do think there is a difference in acceptability. Are parents okay with nude men/women walking down the street when they have their children with them? I mean really, I think there has to be a limit to "freedom of expression." If someone decides to walk around topless, I don't see it as being an issue in of itself (not exactly something I'm too worried about either way in general use areas). Where the real issues lie: the things that happen immediately below the water line. The bacteria that accumulates can be less than pleasant, especially where shared facilities are concerned. I would personally suggest that there be designated areas where such behavior is allowed where people can walk around fully nude (don't want to throw people in jail outright for stuff like this when there are more urgent things to worry about).

As a Massage Therapist, I have seen quite a bit that is better left unsaid- and for that matter- unseen. But I digress - - I do, however, understand the philosophy of social nudism. There is an abundance of people who choose to just not wear their clothes some of the time in certain settings. Naturist clubs require showers at appropriate times, use of a sitting towel, separate from your drying towel. Most of all, they realize while they choose not to wear clothes in certain social settings, this is NOT an open invitation to wanton sexual advances. Cameras or camera/phones either can't be used at all or at least not without permission. The legal naturist clubs are generally well isolated from casual sight with strategic use of trees, hills, curved access roads, etc. so direct sight by an inquisitive child's eyes is highly unlikely. That said, I do believe that nudism should be reserved for those locations and not for all public areas.

In UK, there is no law against being nude in public. They can, of course, use other laws to get you.

As far as I am concerned, I will stick to nude beaches, clubs and resorts. I would like an area for nudity on our beach over the road, but away from where kiddies might be.

What we really need is all the jealous women out there to stop picking apart other women for breastfeeding in public. I worked the return desk for a retailer for several years and always got complaints from women about other women breastfeeding in the store, but not a single guy had an issue.

I never support it, it is still privacy. It is okay to kiss publicly or hold hands, but I also find it is wrong to have french kiss or similar stuff in public. Public is some place any people can see you, considering children or others are even out there it is still wrong.

Even if there was no children, nudity is just wrong in public.

The way I see it, we are children of nature not separate from it. Our naked bodies is our true physical body. This type of behavior to shun and make a taboo out of something so harmless and basic is prevalent in places where the anatomy of the human body is over sexualized to the point it has become an obsession and lack to see beyond sex.

Fact humans are a derivative of chimpanzees and animal that has fur but is basically naked in public. Humans are also meant to be naked in public. That’s how adam and eve was before the apple.
To say you can’t be naked in public etc when fact is all of humans are basically meant to be is breaking one of the fundamental human rights. Despite me not exactly wanting kids to see genitals until the right age.

There are already nude beaches/camps/resorts/hot springs etc exist and some tribes around the world go nude. But full nudity shouldn't be allowed due to sanitation. Going topless though isn't harmful to anyone

I think in the right areas its ok, like at nude beaches or day spas. But i dont think people should just walk around naked on the street. there's nothing really bad about the body.

I would argue depravity of seeing normal bodies creates a lot of the problems we have with sex in society.
