Guy texts me first- he keeps the convo going, I text him first- not so much?

So this guy and I have been texting a little bit. Were really good friends and now I feel like were starting to like each other...

Whenever he texts me first he's really flirty saying all these flirty things and putting a lot of smiley faces...i text him first, and he won't put as much into the conversation, and doesn't send any smiley faces... :(

Does he expect me to keep the conversation going? Usually when he texts me first he'll say 'so what's up' and stuff to keep the convo going...Also its not like I text him first weird things, we talk about the same stuff he'll text me about.

What is his deal?

Um yeah from my experience with this exact situation- was because he was with another girl when I text him and he didn't want her to be asking him who he was texting. But when he wasent with her , he would be all into the convo...so he might have something to hide. The way to find out is to call him and see if he even answers the phone. If he does and says he's busy then cool but if you get no answer -only through text- then something is def up!

It seems like he just wants to talk to you when HE wants to talk. Like when he's bored. Run.

IMO he's probably busy when you text him

So to find out.. text "sooooo what are you doing right now"

Guys are only into conversation when they are focusing on you and nothing else.

Notice when he texts you its probably during a time that he is free and doing nothing else

You're under 18 so most guys will be playing their Call of Duty on their xboxes haha. Best way to know is ask. Communication is key

one more thing: one of the texts I sent to him when he was being weird was, when we were talking about how we don't have one of the classes we had together anymore, 'yeahh, but we have geometry class :)' and just responds 'yaaa'...couldnt of hurt him to put a :) or somthing? I don't know why he does this to me..
