Would girls accept a guy who has multiple girlfriends?

First do not get offended, this questions is for my situation.

I adore the ladies in a way that many times I got mistaken as being a gay, which I am not I am very straight...

my situation is that I love girls and love to have many girlfriends, I am not talking about sex GB and all that but really I am talking about that I have feelings-real ones- to 3 girls, and strangely I was chatting with them and asked them hypothetically if they would accept a guy and share him as a boyfriend...Strangely 2 of them agreed and they got my hint while one refused saying I will not be able to give each one her fair share of love and emotions I have...

I really want to know what the ladies and the guys think?

everyone just relax, first of all, its a thought to see what people think off thesedays.

and by the way I know girls who accept that type of relationship as long as the guy is giving fair share and as long as the girls "know and accept the other girl" about it not hiding it or cheating.

they may sound from another planet but its true...

Personally I wouldn't be okay with it. I want one boyfriend, and I want to be that one special person to him, not one of many. I agree with the girl who said you wouldn't be able to give each her fair share of love, emotions, and attention... you only have so much energy and time. Undoubtedly you'll end up favoring one in some way or forgetting one, etc. It's true that in some cultures (even Mormons in the western world) it's considered acceptable for men to have multiple wives, but I doubt very many of the women actually like the fact that their husband is also five other people's husband. They simply aren't given a choice.

If you are able to find girls who are willing to do this, there's no reason you shouldn't. Whatever floats your boat. But I think that there is a strong chance that even if the girls say they're fine with it, some drama will ensue. You also have a lot of things to think about- do you plan to have the girls meet each other, and make sure they get along? Do you plan to keep them all a secret from the others- that could turn into a full time job? Who will you spend holidays with, if not all of them at once? And will you accept it if they want multiple boyfriends?

Another thing to keep in mind is that it's not actually legal in many places to marry multiple people, so if you plan on actually MARRYING multiple girls, you need to check into the legal situation for where you are. But frankly I wouldn't recommend making a binding promise under such precarious and potentially dramatic circumstances.

(P.S. When I said keep them a secret from the others, I didn't mean don't tell them you're seeing other people. I just meant don't tell them who it is/ introduce them/ etc. You probably realized that but just making sure.)

I would never ever do it, because I don't believe it's right and additional to that you have to deal with a lot of criticisim.

There are a lot of prejudices against people in polygamous relationships, for some thy are certainley not ture and for some they are. They used to have this show 'sister wives' on TLC and I think they made the best they possibly could out of this and in my eyes it was still horrible.

They had to deal with so much pain and jealousy and just don't think its right or worth going through

As long as you don't force your beliefs on others, you can do or not do whatever you want. But a polygamous society is not possible

No I wouldn't be okay with it at all. I need a guy who is only with me, as I am only with him. I am a one-man kind of girl, and so he should be a one-girl kind of guy. That is how I see the situation. Having multiple girlfriends may seem like fun, but I'm sure one of the girls is going to get hurt at some point. It's better to just have one and not complicate things.

Polyamorous persons are not well accepted but there are indeed websites and clubs to help people further their polyamory. I support! Just know that a lot of if not most women will not agree to such.

i don't agree or disagree, I just stated a fact, most western women would be against it, since his profile says he is from egypt therefore he probably comes from a different cultural background then the west. please learn that different people around the world have different opinion than yours, thanks for the thumbs down though :D

I know that he's from Egypt, and yes some women, regardless of where they're from, may be accepting of this type of arrangement. But just as I shouldn't assume that women in other places have a problem with it (which I didn't intend to do), please don't assume that women in other places DON'T.

and FYI some countriesin the EU women have muliple boyfriends and girlfriendsand its OK with them

@QA: well you were asking for an opinion and both MachineMan and saphira gave you theirs. If you wanted to get an opinion from women all over the world, you're prob wrong here because most people on here are american or british (also some from other countries but they are the minority)

I'm not sure to which countries in Europe you were refering to, but I would say in most them it's the same as it is here. Polygamous marriage is illegal and in general not that much accepted.

To share my opinion, I would prefer to find a single mate that I love and that hopefully loves me. I can't see my self being in love with more than one women at a time. Also even if I did love multiple women I would feel guilt if I was going out with more than one of them, especially if they knew because if I was in their shoe I would feel awful knowing she loved someone else as well. End of the day though I have nothing wrong

I feel that in many of theses society where it is prevalent it is actually to the woman's benefit to have a polygamous relationship as these men tend to have a lot of wealth and tend to be better husband then the average and so can provide a greater life for them.

on a side note:there was legal polygamy in the west a few 100 years ago but it was a privilige for kings only.

I meant it wouldn't work out, because for every man that has two or more wifes there would be another, that doesn't have any, unless there's shortage of men, and that is gonna lead to conflicts.

What you said is mostly true tho :) .The regular mormon church doesn't allow polgamy either tho, only the FLDS does, and that poorly. I don't think it's a concept that can work out
