Why do American police kill black Americans? Why did the police officer have his knee on George Floyd's neck for 7 minutes even though George Floyd was pleading: "I can't breathe" "they're going to kill me?" Why did we have to watch a man die infront of our lives whilst pleading for his life? Why are the black community or minorities never listened to when it comes to racist incidents like police brutality? You think because CNN cover it a few times, that means we're heard? No. If minorities were heard, people of colour especially black people wouldn't continually be getting killed by the police and George Floyd would still be alive today. If minorities were heard every cop who has killed a person of colour would be arrested immediately. If minorities were listened to the cop who MURDERED George Floyd would have been arrested and immediately and charged with first-degree murder, not taken into custody 3 days later, and been charged with third degree murder and his three accomplices would have been arrested and also charged as two of them held him down as the main criminal murdered him and one stood by and watched the murder happen. But minorities aren't listened to. Because if minorities were listened to, there would be actual change. There's no actual change, the best people get is coverage on CNN and a few other outlets, then it's all forgotten about no change in the government or the police force training itself, just some cop may be arrested a little too late (if we're lucky), and it's all forgotten about until next time.

So this is what American people feel they have to do, in order to be heard by other American people and for actual change to take place, because the last thing anyone wants to hear is the same story with a different name.

But the fire was uncontrolled and was able to catch nearby businesses on fire as well. The fire department were not able to stop the fire until the rioters left the area so it is a tragedy. But @SpiderManFan2002 is right on many counts. We are all just angry and fed up. The People are here being pecked to frustration. We want things to happen the right way and nothing gets done. I'm American, and I agree with you 100%. What's happening to my country is disgusting. American people are very easily manipulated by media, and American media is extremely political and extremely biased.

What happened to George Floyd was horrible and unforgivable, and there is little doubt it was racially motivated. But there is a media fueled perception that police consistently kill black people more than others, and that is false. The fact is that when a black person gets arrested in the US, they are actually slightly LESS likely to be killed by police than others who get arrested.
