It depends on what death holds.
When I think of bad crimes, something like rape comes to mind first.
If death means you're back in the state of none-existence, then rape is worse, because there's a high chance the victim is mentally ruined.
I think the above is for the victim itself, for others, death is worse, like I'm sure one would rather their loved one be raped, than killed.
None-existence > alive and ruined, for me anyway.
That should be a fairly obvious question.
They are two horrific, despicable crimes.
But if your nearest and dearest is raped, least she is alive. Least she has the opportunity to try and rebuild her life, be happy, and be around her loved ones.
To argue rape is nonsense. That's like saying cracking my screen is worse than losing my phone. People are stronger and more resilient then such people would have to believe.
I will repeat, to argue rape is nonsense. How many of these people arguing rape have experienced death? Do you know how that feels? Do you know if your pain ends in the afterlife? Are you so sure of the consequences of death? Yet we do know rape victims can go on to live fulfilling lives but I can't be surprised at the emotional response of women to my rely. God bless you.

The first lesson I taught a mentally challenged child was: "not everything in the world can be ranked from best to worst".

Rape.
Raping someone means that you are leaving a person scarred for the rest of their life.

I've been raped, and I still haven't mentally recovered or forgot about it, and I probably never will, but murder is definitely worse. At least with rape you'll get to move on with your life, but if you're murdered, you get your life taken away from you, and it takes a part of the people who loved you away from them too.

Hard choice but ultimately murder id say. If u rape someone u are leaving them scared for life and having to live through that, but they can ultimately recover and get to be happy again.
It's murder. Once your life gets taken away, you can't do anything else in life. If I were raped at least I can still benefit from several therapeutic and counseling sessions. At least I'm still alive and a survivor.
To me, it's comparing apples and oranges, they're both horrific.
The rape victim has to live with that having happened to them every day of their life, but they can still live, and some people can heal.
The murder victim will never live again, but at least they aren't suffering.

Having an orgasm during sex is an involuntary reaction while having sex. Last time my boyfriend and I had sex, my legs went numb and I was seeing stars. I can assure you that was involuntary because it was such a weird reaction. Both times I was being raped, I faked it so he wouldn't kill me.

Rape is worse for sure. Think of men being rapped also. They’re forever shamed & probably question their sexuality. Most men & women are Scared to tell anyone. I’d rather die than be raped & left to replay those thoughts repeatedly.
I would rather be killed than go through that again or at all. So clearly rape. Death compared is a blessing.
Murder. Yes, getting raped is bad, but at least you’re alive for starters, and the future ahead might work out for the better. Being murdered on the other hand completely eliminates the potential for a happier ending. You’re dead, so you can’t enjoy what your remaining life had to offer, and the last breaths before you die will be the most painful moment of your life both mentally and physically.
Murder
This shouldn't even be debatable. Death is the end. There is no coming back. As traumatic as rape can be, that person can still live a long healthy, fulfilling life.
If a person is murdered. It's over. Nothing.
Murder, you universally end a life and all it’s potentials. With rape that sometimes happen via suicide but the final choice was the victims compared to with murder
Rape because the victim will spend the rest of her, or his, life wishing they were dead. They'll have to deal with shame, hatred, I just guilt, sexual fear, distrust, counseling, questioning, anxiety, panic and more than likely PTSD.
Generally speaking both are worth than the other.
Rape: Is a spiritual murder to the victim and very hard to recover after the horrible incident.
Murder: Is a spiritual rape to the family of the victim.
Murder is worse because the person is dead and can no longer live their life with their families and friends.
Let me think about this... Hmmm, ... well one you survive, and one you die. -- I'm gonna say murder by far.
I'm a female, so I picked rape. If it was rape and then murder, that would be better.
Id rather not lose someone permanently. Even if it ends up a mental scar they can be fixed.
