I do think women have a more visceral and more intense reaction from it, probably due to evolutionary biology and or emotional reasons.

It's more accurate to say that men see rape as some arbitrary distant crime, as horrible as it is, it always happens to someone else. We see it as an actual threat we need to be concerned with ever god damn day.

It’s clear no one is saying rape is “oh, so fun” so why are you making it out to be like that?

I get it, sometimes you have to just agree with your girl/other women. It’s quite natural for women to do this actually, men too I believe. Where, even though the woman is not entirely right, if you’re a woman and you feel there’s some power struggle, you’ll naturally side with her just for cohesion sake.
