America (Fuck yeah!)
Why? Not saying you shouldn't be, but I mean 'of what' specifically? I like America, and the vast majority of Americans - not a trick question, but something that we don't 'get' in Europe? I've seen videos of kids standing in class reciting the pledge of allegiance etc - like drones, no emotion, no feeling just something that you have to say every day before you sit down and get on with your work in school. It REALLY looks like something from old skool communist China or North Korea etc?
@Jamie1865 It's a way to teach patriotism at a young age.
Surely a way to teach patriotism is by example? To SHOW young people why America or 'x' country is a country that they can be proud of, rather than just saying something every day that you say so often, you just 'switch off' and flip on the autopilot? Watch this for example (this is the first one I picked out) A group of kids - they are just saying something that's been broken down to the syllable level - they don't know what it means - I mean really means, it's just something that they say and are told to say in school. It's like FORCING people to pray and then saying that it makes them religious?

@Jamie1865 They teach American history in schools, so the more they learn, the more they may appreciate reciting the pledge as they grow older.
