Are Indians from India extremely racist towards East Asian looking people and hate them more than any other races and nationalities?

The answer to the original question is probably yes, and even back in Australia, I’ve experienced a hell lot of racism from Indians and Pakistanis due to the fact that I am a Southeast Asian from Cambodia. Having said that, I'm going to be honest, I always thought Indians and Southeast Asians were in the exact same position. And I had nothing against them. Then I started working in places where there were a lot of Indians and Pakistanis... and they're incredibly ignorant and hateful towards Southeast Asian guys. I've worked in several places where this has happened and my impression is that Indians and Pakistanis in Australia are ignorant, antagonistic towards Southeast Asians, conniving, rude. All the Indian dudes and Pakistani dudes at my workplace tried their best to belittle and harass me all the time I worked there. If anything Indian dudes and Pakistani dudes treated me much worse than a few other Middle Easterners who worked there who were Iranian, Turkish.

Up until that point at the restaurant and other IT (Information Technology) companies, I never had any issues at all with Indians and Pakistanis. I never knew Indians and Pakistanis were so racist towards Southeast Asians until I started to encounter a bunch of them in Australia. When I was working for this IT (Information Technology) company afterwards that employed mainly Indian male workers and Pakistani male workers, they made Asian jokes all the time and I received terrible treatment once again. These Indian dudes/Pakistani dudes were scared shit of white guys and black guys but me being the only Southeast Asian guy from Cambodia, they felt like they could gang up on me. One Indian guy made ching chong jokes around me and called me fucking Chinese, even though I'm Cambodian, while another Pakistani guy mocked me with his little brother. Ever since that time, because it wasn't the only time, I've never looked at Indians and Pakistanis the same way. Completely changed my views on them.

Unfortunately, this is true. I’m going to talk from my experience as I’m an Indian and I’ve also seen how racism works in Australia. I have seen people mocking East Asians but not necessarily because of the hate towards them for their looks, but for the cuisines originating from China and north east. I’ve had a coworker who ate dogs and I just could not eat from her tiffin, ever. But in no way was I hateful towards her, ever.
I think I can speak for Australia because my brother has been living here for more than a decade now and he’s seen a different pattern here. Indians and Pakistanis bond real quick unless they’re talking about sensitive matters. The Chinese group never really mingles at the uni and they live in a pack. Also, they’re quite rich and have better access to luxuries in Australia. I believe that communication barrier could be a reason to not interact. Indian’s have this habit to call out every northeast Asian ‘chinki’ and we presume that they’re not interested in being friends. (Applies in Australia too). Well, now even north easterns hate the rest and people from China act mean towards Indians. So I guess it’s a two way thing. Also, my best friend is from Indonesia so there are happy stories too. Well, that was long and I don’t know if I made sense. But we aren’t getting away from discrimination anytime soon. Sorry :c

I don't get where did this notion about Indians not being hateful towards East Asians based on their appearances. Yes, it's true that certain Indians might be less hostile if the East Asian is exceptionally handsome or pretty, but it doesn't make Indians not hateful towards East Asians in general based on their appearances. Racial slurs like "narrow-eyed", "slant eye", "chinki", nepali, momo seller, shit etc. get thrown out a lot, especially on the Internet and they don't consider it racist (and yes, if you insult then back with slurs about Indians, then most of them will become defensive). Same for racist gestures like pulling your eyes. People become more open-minded when you go South India at least compared to North India, but not that much.

Plus, India has a significant population of people with East Asian features and Southeast Asian features in the North East of their country and the abuse that these people suffer in India is substantial. And given that East Asians and Southeast Asians are characterized by this feature, what a NE Indian faces can be generalized to East Asians/Southeast Asians.
The reality is Indians hate/look down on both East Asian guys and Southeast Asian guys as ugly aliens regardless of their nationalities. I don’t often see Indians even bother hanging out with East/Southeast Asian guys as most Indians see East Asian guys as insignificant and consider us as mostly nothing but garbage to them. I think even today, the majority of Indian people will just dismiss all East Asian guys and Southeast Asian guys as ugly weird Chinese person regardless of their nationalities.

And it really doesn't matter if you are Chinese or Japanese or Thai or Filipino, the kind of discrimination is likely to be similar.

Well to be fair @KhmerFighter I've never been to India or hung around Indian people. I had an Indian friend in elementary school growing up in America. I don't know what Indian people are like within their own community too much.

I’m sorry! But I’ve lived in India for almost 24 years and I’ve never seen anyone hating East Asians because of their appearance. In fact, while I was studying, I remember all girls appreciating their hair and skin. If anyone hates them at all, it would be because they were jealous. Now again, I’m only speaking this from my limited experience.
But another reason for this “hate” could be our brutal history with China. Idiots call every small eyed person “Chinese” and NE Indians always “exclude” themselves from the rest of India. Like I said earlier, it’s a two way thing. Also, fun fact- it’s a criminal offence to call anyone “Chinki” in India.

from a cambodian perspective east Asian racism tends to be more the act of avoidance and of wanting nothing to do with you. they stay clear of you and out of your way. if they do think negative things about you they tend to talk behind your back rather than to your face. east Asians rarely get physically violent. that is my experience. I find this racism harmless because i stick to my own kind and they stick to theirs and both stay out of each other's way.

indian hindu racism i find is far worse. I find that many indians think they are racially superior to cambodian men. they think of us as just another "chinese people" and believe that they are more masculine, tougher and better than us. ironically i have experienced many indian men trying to start fights with me because of this misconception. they think i am going to be docile and let them punk me. Wrong.

another aspect of hindu indian men is that they want to have sex with our women. chinese, korean, japanese do not want to or lust after cambodian women. so east Asians may look down on us but at least they usually don't want anything to do with us. indian hindus on the other hand think we are inferior but also want to bang our females.

i've heard of hindu indian men hassling cambodian women but never of cambodian men hassling indian women for sex.

Correction, there is no such thing as only Indian Hindu men wanting to develop sexual relationships with other women. Yes, Indians have creeps but not all are the same. Now aren’t you generalising? Indians don’t think about who’s strong or not. The only two reasons I may have issues with NE or Chinese is their eating habits. Well and sex, i don’t want to talk about it because that is an issue everywhere. Anyone ‘hating’ on NE folks would not want to be with them. Now that the debate has reached sex, the argument seems unintelligent. To conclude, I’ve never seen anyone hate NE folks at least from where I’ve come from. There are decent people out there too.

Well I kept specifying Hindus because from my experience muslim and christian indians behave differently from the hindus. the hindus seem to always be measuring themselves to see where they are in the hierarchy. they make their intentions known by their behavior. maybe the caste system makes them behave this way.
And yes Indians do make fun of East Asian males and Southeast Asian males because they think they are ugly and hideous. I've heard indians say that east Asian males and Southeast Asian males have small dicks, that we are weak, that we are very ugly, that we look like girls. all this while assuming that i was chinese. hindu indians and east Asians both have superiority complexes but since indians are closer to caucasians it is even worse because we are different races. I've never had an east Asian try to fight me despite me being a dark skinned cambodian but have had groups of indian dudes try to fight me and act smart when they outnumber me. these were the north indians. never had a bengali or tamil dude to try to mess with me though..
However, for some unknown reason East Asian women and Southeast Asian women don’t seem to experience that much racism from Indian people compared to us Southeast Asian men. That’s why I am mentioning it here clearly many Indian people are racist and hateful towards Southeast Asian men in particular.

Also, maybe it has to do with the fact you were an immigrant? I doubt they'd have the guys to treat a 2nd or 3rd generation East Asian born in Australia this way; there are lots of Australians of Vietnanese or Cambodian origin

I've seen a lot of comments by non east Asians trying to reverse this by accusing east Asians of being more racist.

I'm fucking sick and tired of retarded shit like that. East Asians are the least racist. East Asians all over the world are way too hospitable to non-East Asians. Many are even white worshipping. But facts don't matter, only perception. Multiple lifetimes of drilling into everyone's brain that "East Asians are the most racist" has engineered a false reality. One that these demons are using to justify violent racism against us.

You do have some people who charge more for foreigners, but besides that, East Asians are
welcoming and hospitable people regardless of race. East Asians don’t look down on foreigners or treat them badly just because someone happens to be African, Indian, etc. East Asians should stop being fucking doormats to these violent non east Asian sadists. It doesn't matter how nice you are to them. They will always think East Asians are inferior to them.

Sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. I'm quite surprised tbh as a South Asian guy from the UK. Over here I've worked with different kinds of people. I feel us South Asian are more hostile towards our own kind. Cambodia is a diff country. I can understand your frustration. I'm guessing the South Asians you worked with weren't very literate or educated and were probably from rural backgrounds and not open minded. I assure you, there are open minded educated people amongst us. Quite commonly found in universities.

I'm an Indian and I can assure you that this idea is really common among Indians. From what I have seen, Indians seem to generalize a lot. Many Indians consider almost every East Asian to be Chinese. India China relations haven't been so good since past years and people generalize a lot. Many Indians consider Chinese to be freaks that they eat any living creature they put their hands on and hence apply this to every East Asian. With the rise of nationalism and excessive toxic patriotism, Indians hate Chinese a lot.

I like them why should I hate someone for no reason, people in India , most of the girls are crazy for k-pop and Korean dramas , if some one says it's true , it's their personal opinion i guess I never seen some one say they hate or been racist to east Asians some just make fun of their flat nose (in a friendly manner ) but never had hate for them they say like your nose is like a Chinese but they just mean their appearance but never in a hateful way they also say you look like Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan , there is a great love for Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan too, infact north east people of India almost like a east Asians just look at pictures since they are near China they some look pure chinese too, my entire is based on south Indian POV cause I have never seen some one hate or been racist towards them not to mention kids admire Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee in cartoons , but there always will be an exception most probably its just a very small group of people in a very populated country so genralising such big population is so dumb

In my experience Polish people were some of the most racist I've ever met mostly just this one Polish guy on this website though. He hated all Asians and did whatever he could to insult them. I think Indians dislike Chinese in particular but that makes sense because China is right now not treating their country too nicely. Irish people are also pretty racist. Basically anyone extremely Catholic is pretty racist so Irish, Mexican, Polish, French sometimes... I don't think it's everyone in that ethnicity but definitely at least some of them sometimes. Some Eastern Europeans too like Russians and Greeks although they aren't Catholic. Arabs and Jews can sometimes be a little racist like Sarah Silverman is a Jewish comedian and she made a joke like "I hate chinks" people ask her to apologize but she says it's just a joke and she won't apologize. Honestly there are racist people from everywhere even Chinese can sometimes be racist to themselves as well as Koreans, Filipinos, Vietnamese especially hate Chinese sometimes. I've had unpleasant encounters from almost every ethnicity I can think of at least on one occasion.

So I'd say in short the most racist were probably Polish, Eastern Europeans in general;
and then anyone deeply Catholic like Irish, Polish, Mexicans, Italians. Latin people can especially stereotype you a lot and make fun of you;
Some Jewish people can be a little bit racist but not over the top;
Generic white people like English, Dutch, Norwegians, Swedes, but they are more polite about it at least;
Some south East Asian people hate Chinese in particular like Vietnamese, Filipinos. Both of them hate Chinese strongly in my experience. Hong Kong people too which confuses me because I see them as Chinese too;
Some Japanese but they are more judgmental and condescending rather than all out racist hateful.
