My thoughts are out there for all the innocent people who are suffering on both sides, especially the children. Both sides are to blame for attacking each other. I still condemn the Israeli side most for deliberately causing even more tension between Palestinians and Israelis. They know very well their actions in Sheikh-Jarrah will spark outrage. Yet, they still proceeded to do it while neglecting international laws.
And I know some will come and blame Hamas, while neglecting the fact that Hamas is a byproduct of the whole conflict and the conflict has been going on for more than 50 years prior to Hamas even existing. And no, I'm not condoning Hamas' actions.
Also, looking at it from a statistical point of view, we see many more casualties on the
Palestinian side than on the Israeli side. Israel has one of the most sophisticated armies in the world, and yet they use their power against innocent civilians living under oppression within borders that has no legitimate army. And thus cannot properly defend themselves. Not only that, an entity that has been violating international laws and committing war crimes as easily as breathing oxygen (white phosphorus much?).
So with that said, as much as I like to remain neutral, I cannot. And therefore I stand with the people of Palestine and admire their courage in stance against an opponent that has much more power and influence. Because this courage alone is what has allowed them to still exist and not be wiped out long ago. Much love to the Palestinians from the Netherlands 🇳🇱❤️🇵🇸
Personally, it seems to me that Israel has been provoking the conflict, by acting like bullies and assholes.
Now that Hamas has responded, people are saying "Oh, it's just another belligerent Palestinian attack; those terrible people." I feel like the Palestinians do have a legitimate grievance, over the way Israel has been treating them, but Hamas's response was over the top. If it weren't for Israel's defense system, there would be many more Israeli casualties.
Of course, Israel is using the Palestinian response to their own actions as an excuse to do even more damage to Gaza & Hamas. In a way, it almost feels like Israel planned this, from the start, so they would have an excuse to wipe out Hamas, and annex more territory. They knew Hamas would react to the Israeli treatment of Palestinian citizens, so they knew they would have an excuse to respond in force.
Personally, I can't sympathize with either side. Israel was/is initially in the wrong, but Hamas would be just as culpable for civilian deaths, if not more so, if the Israeli defensive system wasn't intercepting so many of their rockets.

Hamas is reaction towards the Israeli tyranny. Even though I have much comments and opponent to the Hamas policy in Gaza strip, but in such reaction in my opinion is justified. Because the Israeli army has the most sophisticated Offensive weapons systems in the region which are usually addressed to civilians at Gaza. Those massive military technology have been using against civilians even before Hamas.
For example, the Sabra and Shatilla massacre 1982 and so on.

- The conflict is political in the first stage then it has been interpreted to religious from some sides. But not all Muslims neither Jews are approaching the same narrative of yours.
- the conflict is bounded by the mass of power. An occupied land by a massive military power against locals who do not obtain any remarkable power comparing to the occupational side. Meanwhile the world does not care about their agony. That led to Sharp polarization. That polarization casued a speech such as yours.
- When we are talking about rights, it's not a field for reflecting the religious issues. In rights there's oppressors and victims.
The history of establishing the state of Israel reveals who is oppressors and victims. Before 14 March 1948, there was nothing called Israel. It was the state of Palestin under the British colony. the Jews represent half the population in that area and they are one of the strongest military powers in the entire Middle East with nuclear weapons. I don't think fighting them is a great idea for anyone. I can't imagine a situation where the USA would take sides against them in any War.
The at least solution is (in my opinion):
- Stop killing Palestinians and stop the attacks on Gaza.
- Stop the Apartheid practice against the Palestinians.
- Setting the detained Palestinians who have been detained in the demonstrations.
- Committing to the UN security council resolution number 242, which gives the Palestinians the right of independence of the eastern bank and the Gaza strip.
- Committing to The resolutions of Oslo treaty.
- Finally, reactivate the negotiations with a fair will.
All that sounds very reasonable.
