Feminism used to be about helping a woman be a woman, then it migrated into "equal rights for women." lately it has now become, "The fight against Toxic Masculinity." What it has done, it has destroyed all male construct, leaving us with a new breed of young men who are turning out to be to feminine, to the point where they no longer want to get a good job, and support their family, they no longer want to go and hunt, hike, and do other things that push them to go beyond themselves.

The word husband literally means the first to die when protecting the family. It used to be years ago, that before a family stepped into an elevator, the husband would go first; if the elevator was not there, he would fall to his death; and the rest of the family would be safe. In this day an age most feminist would want to be first in everything, but those things they know are very high risk; they are o. k. with sending men to do those things, even though they say they want everything equal!! Even in the military, women are not measured to the same standard as men. More is required from a man than a woman!!!

They are finally coming close to making the requirements the same for all; and I guarantee the feminist will complain it is not fair!!! The ask for things, and when they get them; they complain!!!

I'm a sort of femenist, so is my wife, so are my daughters.
    I'm all about female empowerment.
I brought a book called "Rejected Princesses".
    There's a website.
It's women from history that changed history.
Without these women the world would not exist as we know it.

I was molested when I was 4. Many of my relatives were raped or molested. I have been teaching my daughters that even though they might not be as strong as a typical man there are ways to deal with them.
    Don't be scared, be prepared.
There's this little thing I taught them to carry around in there Pocket. It's called FURY!!!
My girls are young. I train them to explode until in sparring I have to really defend myself.

    Typical feminists?
They might have started out as victims of some sort of trauma. Blaming every man for the rest of their life for the trauma done to them is as unfair as the trauma that they experienced.
    I was molested when I was 4!
    I'm not a Victim anymore.
    My daughters won't be.
    Femenists are bullies.
I'm trying to empower and defend my daughters but I'll be labeled a toxic male by the feminists of today.
Attacking anyone based on trends is as fucked up as racism.
It all depends on the individual.
I'm not giving up any of my rights because other evil men have committed atrocities.
Make the penalty for any sexual assault so horrendous that even those sick fuxx will think twice before messing with a kid.

I love outspoken, competent feminists out there who consistently make things happen for us.

They’re all action and no talk.

Men hate all feminists, regardless.. because they’re on the losing team and it takes away their privilege to keep mistreating women or skate on by with the bare minimum and still remain in relationships.

They want women to play housewife and raise kids, yet want to make it financial hell on everyone who has kids.

Not even maternity leave is compensated because the US is clearly still primarily prejudiced against working mothers.

You can’t win, either way in that dilemma.

I'm a feminist. They are great! They won the right to vote for women, they almost won the right to equal pay but there is still lots of fighting left. Did you know the USA is the only major country on earth that doesn't have federal maternity leave? That's nuts.

I avoid them like the plague. The "feminists" today are just a bunch of ignorant man haters. The original movement of feminism was to get women to have equal rights to men under the law, which has already been achieved. If anything, women have MORE privileges than men. Today's feminists often cannot even accurately give historical facts related to their cause, fight for something they already have or have been hurt by a few men and blame ALL men for it. There are shitty men and women and there are good men and women.

I like the brands that focus on the responsibility and potential of the individual to overcome their obstacles, like "amazon" or "street-smart" feminism as coined by Camille Paglia:

How do you feel about Feminist?

I like mentally strong, accountable people in general whether they're men or women who, even as underdogs, find ways to be victorious. I do not like the type of philosophy that causes people to spend the bulk of their focus blaming other people (or even nebulous, ill-defined systems like the patriarchy) for the consequences of their own life choices. I do not like anything veering towards a victimhood mentality.

For example, take gender gaps in Olympic world records or earnings. The type of feminist that looks at that and says, "We women should work to improve our own lives," is the type I can get behind. The type who looks at that and says, "The only reason we can't compete with men here is because of sexism," is the type I can't get behind.

Of course, I will stand behind someone who can point to me how sexism imposed an impasse that they cannot possibly get around, like laws that discriminate based on sex. But I cannot accept the excuse like, "As a woman, I was discouraged from sports and therefore that's why I am not beating guys in the 100m dash or participating in computer science." That comes off to me like an excuse because I've faced similar discouragement and, maybe we can never compare, but that did not stop me from pursuing and succeeding in my own interests.

... it did not stop Amelia Earhart so I know women have the potential to overcome such discouragement if they have the passion and motivation. And I am not turning a blind eye to sexism towards women. I've seen it in my job as a software engineer which can turn into a boys' club, and I did everything I could to welcome female engineers to our team to counteract that tendency. But ultimately I see the responsibility in individuals to adapt to their circumstances, and not the circumstances to adapt to the individual. I'm a realist and so I think it's through determined underdogs that society changes. I favor the victor mindset and not the victim mindset.

Real, original feminism, as practiced by the Suffragette movement in the early 20th Century that promoted real equality of opportunity for women AND men instead of the pseudo-feminist bullshit that's only interested in bashing men to a pulp then once they've eliminated them, complaining that there are no real men left: that original feminism is laudable and to be fought for.

Anti-male sexist fuckwittery calling itself "feminist" practices is despicable and should be grounds for ejection from well-mannered society.

Depends upon YOUR definition of 'Feminism'...

Mine is based in observable Nature, which is the Deity's manifest design.

Females ARE BY Divine DESIGN, the Arbiters of where the human species goes, PERIOD!
EACH generation is decided COLLECTIVELY by whose DNA unites with FEMALE Ovum
and subsequently what examples are witnessed at their Mother's knee in their offspring's
formative years. (Nature & Nurture) BECOMING the predominant prevailing 'Society'~

Don't like YOUR options in the choice of male partners?

I think feminism in itself a good thing to say and has a right background but nowadays the radical voices are the voices that are spred the most.
For me it sometimes seems like gynarchy is the hidden agenda. There´s so much talk around about "toxic masculinity" which is so less defined that it seems to be that is everything girls don´t like in a guy they is toxic and only are obviously able to solve that.
So it probably will probably become a trend to say that guys are toxic in a way and maybe one day most men become feminine and still be toxic for some reason.
I don´t think that both sexes will never be totally equal there will always be one that is seen to be dominant by the other one.

I don't mind feminists, per say, especially in regards to first and (a little) second wave feminists. Those who actually fight for women's rights where needed.

I dislike third wave/radical feminists, or modern feminists, who promote anti-male/anti-equality propaganda.

I've said this several times on this site, but I disagree with the radicals (honestly in every situation not just feminism). I want true equality for both men and women, both the good and the bad together. As women, if we can't take on the negatives guys experience then we don't deserve the benefits they get too.

Well are we talking the extremists or a true feminist? Now I see True feminist as the perfect human. I believe God wanted us top be part male energy and part female energy. meaning we have both the emotions of a male and female. it has nothing to do with the physical traits but the mental traits. I am all for that, but we need to start calling it something else with my view point. I call it being a Pink Knight

I’m a girl but I’m not a feminist. I’m not saying I like being degraded and shit and not having rights and things, but feminists create drama that is unnecessary. And the ones that I think are annoying as hell are the ones who say BURN ALL MEN and shit like that. Cause if the genders were reversed there would be a lot of drama.

I think everyone has a right to have a “chip on their shoulder” about how unfair life’s circumstances are.. but I think wasting your time and life complaining about them instead of overcoming them is a sad way to identify yourself. This goes for feminists and anti-feminists. No two people will ever have the exact same opportunities or advantages or disadvantages or difficulties. Life isn’t fair, just kick life’s ass. That’s all you can really do about it.

Oh, brother. That's superficial thinking: money solves all problems. It turns out that there are real biological differences between men and women and most women don't want to work as hard as most men do so in countries that have achieved maximum equality between men & women, women actually choose to be stay at home moms... while hanging their degrees on the wall.

I've worked jobs where I made more than the guy sitting next to me even tho we had the same job title and he was working harder. Why? Because 1.) I was better at negotiating and 2.) I wasn't trying to be nice/meek/polite. The difference is that men who get paid less don't whine about it and play victim. Yes, IF there's a specific case where there's a planned strategy of paying women less across the board that's wrong. If it's simply that she sucked at negotiating or her skills suck and she's paid based on those things while another woman down the hallway makes more... I don't care. I've worked with women who made 3x what I was making and I was making six figures. I didn't go whine about it because those women worked their way up to their positions. That's life!

Compensation should be based on value of labor and nothing else. Otherwise what's even the point? We would just say the most respectable job is beggar because they negotiate an infinite markup for literally no work. If you're not doing something useful then you aren't really earning anythig: you're being given it. Which is fine if you're honest about it, but few are. And, conversely, if you are compensated for less than you earn you are being stolen from. Standing up for yourself for slightly less theft isn't part of the job (unless you are a union rep).

    • hahahmm

The only reason for equitable compensation is to boost employee morale when employees discuss their pay and find out someone is making more for the same job. In some countries like India there's laws that people with the same job titles must make the exact same pay at a given company but even that doesn't prevent a company from simply making 50 job titles and giving the guy sitting next to you a higher paying title even tho the actual work he does is just 2 seconds extra per day. Some tech companies in the U. S. have like 15-20 titles where in the industry it's normal to only have 3-5. Hint, hint. Companies aren't hurt by you making more or less than the person doing the same job next to you because they're paying both of you way less than you're actually worth. Get it? Life isn't fair. Some people whine. Some people suck it up and keep trying till they get what they want. Some women have tried building all female companies.. they failed in many cases.

I understand a cutthroat environment has an appeal to you - or at least you have foind a way to navigate it confidently and are thus standing opposed to the idea of changing the landscape. I simply find it barbaric and would prefer civility. That is the goal but it is also true that our species is still pretty new to that concept.
