I actually love that word.

1. because black people are so powerful it makes other groups want to say it.
For example, look at Mexicans and Filippino in California. for the most part, they are diet coke, black people. even the white kids they know not to say it but they do in private or in front of that one black friend.
2. racist people say it like it's gonna hurt your feeling. then you can use it against them and get them fired or sue a company so there many benefits there.
3. it is a form of taking back a word. literally flipped it
4. white people can big niggas. go through ANY TRAILER PARK or
catch me outside girl those are white niggas. you got Asian niggas aka china mac. Hispanic niggas etc. I would rather be a black nigga than a non-black nigga. remember when people were scared of Eminem. they call arabs sand niggas LOL
5. if it is a slur to black people. i think it's even funnier if I say you're the nigga of your own community. I see it as a slur for other people.
6. and the best thing is somebody calling you a nigga and WEARING JORDANS OR BUYING BLACK PROPERTY.

I believe that it is derogetory for anyone to say it. Now, I understand why black people say it, as it was explained to me; however, that does not change my opinion on it. Yehuda Berg said, "Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate, and to humble." The N-Word was meant as a downgrade for black people. Today, it's used as a means to take ownership; however, I personally view it as an encouragement of beliefs for those that believe this to still be true. I also find it perplexing because no other group of any race/ ethnicity uses a derogatory word as a sign of recognition.
It's mean and hurts people's feelings it's not okay for anyone to say black or white it's demeaning and as long as they call each other that there will be people like you that think it's ok. But again nobody should say it

It’s weird and it’s funny how there’s even millennial songs that mention it.
It's a two-syllable mouth sound that has no meaning without context in the same way curse words in languages you don't know have no meaning. Most humans should be smart enough to understand this, yet nowadays, it seems surprising how few actually do.
Anyone who gets triggered by that is a low-IQ simpleton on the same intellectual level as Pavlov's dogs. Not to mention, I bet you all the money I have Joe Biden has said "n**" more times in his life than I've said it or "nigga" combined (which is probably less than 50, on my part). It's a word that basically just means "person".
If it's positive, negative or neutral, it mostly depends on inflection.
A lot of people thing that "my nigga" has positive connotations, but even that can be ill meant in different tonal contexts, as well as "bitch ass nigga" can have positive connotations.
Actually that's true for modern English in general and for at least a good chunk of languages.
It's way less semantically driven and depends a lot on figure of speech. It's a fascinating word how it's changed over time and for who and all that. Pretty cool yknow literature-ily.
Personally I try not to use it I know it gets taken wrong, but I tend to adopt how people I listen to talk, so if I'm around a lotta people who use it casually it'll start popping up again some.I have become indifferent and will not fault anyone who uses it at this point. What used to be a racial slur is now just a way to address another person.
No fucks left to give about the word in general.Lots of black people don't use that word, you know. And I don't call any racial group names (white, black, Asian). I don't think it should be illegal to use a word but it also should be okay for people to punch somebody in the face for calling them a name & not get into trouble with the law.
The world would be more simple if bad words were bad words no matter who said it…..
But the world isn’t quite simpleI think it should be taken out of the English language. It is an abused word. The original definition was an ignorant person. Color or ethnicity had nothing to do with it.
I think that ANYONE saying it, is just perpetuating the same thing they claim to be against: RACISM!
I never understood how changing the er at the end, makes the word all of a sudden okay to say. And if you want racism to stop, you should stop putting the word in your lyrics
its a great word and more people of white colour should say it
It's a word like any other and the more people tell me not to say it, the more I will say it.
That's ghetto language. It's an adaptation of the hard R. Just like "honkey" is an adaptation of the word cracker
You can say it but you better watch tm where you say it because you might get knocked out or shot
its a stupid word just like all the other racist derogatory words
I think it is crass and shouldn't be used.
